This Bhatia is not a bad fighter at all, I'm impressed.
A few things.
Firstly i dont get Danny at all he was walking foward no jab just looking to bomb waiting too long. When he let his shots go he looked good and in his last few looked a world beater.
He was not motivated and 265 is not a good weight for Danny he should be between 235-245.
Cant take anything from this fight apart from Danny was not motivated and out of shape.
Two more moans firstly McDermott is a disgrace fat out of shape slob who wanted to quit after 3 and didnt deserve the win. And i held Dave Parris in high esteem until the fight he was clearly in Maloneys pocket.
Got to remember he's in with a guy with one win from five, and he is getting caught more than I'd like if I was in the Bhaatia corner. Some decent hooks from the guy in the red trunks, but Bhaatia definitely well in charge.Quote:

I had Mcdermott down by 1 point (apart from the points taken off) so with those Williams shouldnt of won, the last 2 points taken off were harsh I thought (but Williams had been warned all fight) imo a draw. A shame for Mcdermott cos that wouldve given him a much needed (as seen tonight) confidence boost.
Akaash Battia seen him once or twice before, looked good to watch but letting far too many punches get to him at that level of opponent, who i thought did pretty well.
i thought John won on points, but fuck it, it is his fault for not finishing it in the fifth, i mean fucking hell after all that he cudn't even put him down? he don't deserve no title, shit he should retire after that
Thats the worst i have ever seen Williams worse than the Sam fight.
Fighters that come in looking like John are shabby.
Just worked out that Williams has lost 7pts in his last two fights when he deserved to lose maybe 1.
John Mc Dermott is a total disgrace to boxing , if that is the best condition he can get himself in , he should retire now.
I ve seen bar Flies in better shape than him , he looked like a human mudslide.

I dont think Dave Paris likes Danny . He gave Sprot a win over Danny when Danny clearly won . He allowed John to tie Danny up throughout the fight when Danny was trying to work. John did what Tyson did to Botha and tried to break Dannys arm but the ref takes 3 points off Danny ? WTF . They tried again to rob Danny last night but thankfully teh judges werent corrupt
Frank Maloney said he was gonna hand back his promoters license . . . .he should , hes been nothing since Lewis dicthed him years ago anyway !

3 points in a close fight is harsh but Mcrory said afterwards that the ref couldnt have been against Danny or he would have stopped it in the 5th . Thats 1 way of looking at it but teh way I saw it is that the ref has always hated Danny and probably enjoyed seeing him getting beaten up and wanted it to continue .
I think Danny needs to go through hell in order to get himself started. Unless he is in a crisis he doesnt wake up it seems .
I think McCrory does have a point, because I was convinced that the ref was going to step in in the fifth round there, and anywhere else in Europe that would have been all she wrote. That was an amazing barrage to take for Danny, but it still didn't really get him totally motivated and attacking. I think my last word on this bout is that he's a very lucky boy indeed.Quote:

After David Haye screaming for a challenge for Klitschko's belt after moving up,and conspicuous by his absence in the ring against those in this division who he is on record as saying are...old,fat & lazy...would it not be a good night for British fans to see a fight between Danny Williams & David Haye.?
I think Danny is still dangerous and can punch,and as we all know Haye is no stranger to the floor,and it would be a good test for David Haye's chin, and at the same time get him some rounds in his new division.Danny on a decent night( like his last fights) would show he is no push over and might earn David Haye some respect from those who say he is all mouth .I think it would be a good fight and last chance for Danny Williams to show he can still be seen as a contender..
Anyway I think it would be a good match and PPV interest is there too.
