That fight was in '76. The fight I am thinking must have been later, after I finished high school. I'm thinking it might have been his title fight loss to Jim Watt in 1980, which was stopped on cuts.

I remember that one. Lots of blood. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember a very blatant headbutt in the first round, for which Hagler was penalized a point. Not something that Hagler had a rep for, but it happened.

Donald Curry Colin Jones was kinda strange, a huge gash across the nose that stopped the fight, but there was hardly any blood?

I had never seen a pic of Marcianos cut nose until now. It was much worse than I imagined !

Barrios was mentioned earlier for the bout vs Diaz but Freitas cut him badly as well.

The late Mando Ramos was usually covered in blood and with really bad cut. The one that sticks out the most was in his fight vs. Sugar Ramos.
