It hasn't been the Trojans year in a little bit.
But I agree it could be this year. Hopefully we finally get to see a SEC team-LSU, Georgia, Florida or whoever against USC since its getting painfully boring watching The Ohio State get worked.
Of course USC needs to hold up there end of the bargain and not blow it against Stanford, Oregon State, whoever they've been losing to the last couple of years.
A bad day for Amat apparently.
USC should cover the 11 points
I don't think Auburn will cover.
Sucks that Alabama's playing some no name, I wish they'd play all major schools but nobody does that.
Notre Dame and Michigan are the worst teams ever. That's about it.
No kidding. I woke up at 9:30 after a rough night and Cal was down 14-3 with Maryland driving. Then I saw our best player lose his lunch on the field and kind of got an indication from there. Our defensive line is soft, which is odd because we have a good pass rush.
Yeah, Jimmy Clausen sucks too. Which is unfortunate because he has heart and some fire, but yeah they are about the worst ever. I like Notre Dame always have.
Glad Oregon pulled it out against Purdue, I couldn't handle a Pac 10 loss to a Big 10 and Cal losing. I didn't watch the game because Tim Lincecum was pitching and there was a Telemundo card but apparently tOSU (ridiculous) sucks and it was a slaughter. I thought their defense would hold them in the game til the 4th but apparently the offense is just anemic. Hahaha
Oh but I'm sure with a healthy Chris Wells they would have scored 36 and they deserve a spot in the title game. I would have rather seen him healthy. I hope Michigan beats them hahah
I see Auburn beat Mississippi State in their soccer game today.
Couldn't figure out how to word that one.
Alabama, 4-0. Another men vs. boys day.
Great day of college football. ECU out of the BCS race unfortunately for them.
We Are!!!!
Penn State!!!!!!
Auburn-LSU-logic tells me LSU but I just have a feeling Auburn will win. Sickening.
Florida should beat Tennessee, Georgia should beat Arizona State but you never know.
God Damn Nc State!!!!
What a week, Alabama has their chance to go to Georgia and pull off a massive win. It may not happen, they are rightfully favored. But it will be great.

Georgia looks to be legit, I still haven't seen Oklahoma and Missouri's offense is just off the charts. Really, Daniel to Macklin is probably the best ocmbo in college football this year. Kentucky is solid, I got to see Micah Jones play in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and also Curtis Pulley who was dismissed, only Mr. Football and Mr. Basketball in Kentucky state history but apparently he likes weed more then he does sports. Pity. But Kentucky does look really good and possibly an SEC spoiler team. Maybe Alabama haha
I don't think Missouri's good enough defensively to win it but they are pretty incredible offensively. Oklahoma is better overall IMO.
USC tonight, would be nice for entertainment sakes if it wasn't a blowout but that's doubtful.
I haven't been as excited this early in the week for a game like this Georgia game in a while. They have the skill players but we should be better on both sides of the line. I want their fans to be vomiting despair by the fourth quarter. I think in every pile up our kicks should be aiming for the groin. I'm going to have to get high to calm down during the game.
USC is about to loose :o
Oh! shit no!!! :furious2:
We just can't stop the run and O's defense is up for the challenge and have played well.
:( FUK!!
Uswho?
What a complete joke. I'm sorry USC fans (not really) but that's BS. How the hll does a team come out that flat? Did Pete Carrol not remind them what this team did to them 2 years ago? 2 years ago!
How pathetic. All USC had to do was not letdown on these Pac 10 away games where every team is going to have their best for 4 quarters and they would have been undefeated. Guaranteed because they aren't losing at home and they aren't losing out of conference. How they could come out so flat is beyond pathetic.
Pathetic. Really, watched it at work and everytime I looked up at the score I just shook my head. And I hate USC. I got to see most of the first half as it wasn't that busy and they just looked flat. Sanchez is a better QB then I thought though I'm really impressed with his out of the pocket skills.
Otherwise, it was a shameful performance. And it makes me a bit sad because now Cal has absolutely no shot at beating SC.
Wow I can't believe that game last night. What was the spread going into that game like 20 or something?
I just heard a cool stat. I think it was 75 or 80% of the games played on ESPN on thursday night the home team has won. Kinda crazy I know last year there was allot of big upsets on Thursdays.
Oh man it is already happening, you can not be serious. How fucking predictable is this shit, FUCK.
ESPN.com front page, big picture of Terrelle Pryor and this underneath.
"USC's loss Thursday at Oregon State brought a host of other teams into play ... possibly even that other OSU."
The happiest people in the nation on Thursday night weren't in Oregon or even Georgia or Oklahoma, it was the sick minds in Ohio and Bristol, Connecticut conspiring together to bring us this shit. Fuck that if Ohio State finishes with 1 loss and goes to the title game I am DONE. Seriously, I am done with college football and I'm not joking about that.
A couple years ago there was this ridiculous pandering by ESPN that should the Ohio State Michigan game be close as they were 1,2 in the final week of the season that there should be a rematch for the national title. Isn't that great, a rematch.
Luckily sanity prevailed and both Ohio State and Michigan got stomped out respectively by the SEC and Pac 10. NO BIG 10 IN THE TITLE GAME. I swear they can not pull this one over on us again, can they?
Damnit that made me fork up a little bit of that zesty chicken ranch sandwich from last night.
I know Amat, I thought the same thing, its sickening.
Wow, Florida blew it.
And it is insane how bad Arkansas is
Down goes USC, Florida, Wisconsin, Clemson, and ECU against lackluster opponents, what a weekend
Wisconsin lost to Michigan? Huh, was not even paying attention.
It just shows we say teams with one loss are out of out of it too soon. Unfortunately I guess that includes Ohio State.
This is brilliance.
wow I can't believe all the upsets this weekend. Its absolutely crazy. I really expected Georgia to take Alabama out I guess I was wrong.
We Are,penn State
How far down will USC fall in the rankings? I'm thinking they'll settle in at about 11 or 12.
What the hell happened? How did Alabama win? I watched 0 football yesterday unfortunately except for glimpses of the Alabama-Georgia game at work and everytime I looked at it seemed that Alabama was driving.
USC's rankin at this point is fairly irrelevant because all they have to do is not have another gaff and they will be right back in the title picture no matter where they fall to now.
I mean we have destroyed everybody. Alabama has not trailed yet. Not a second. They've only been tied for like 26 minutes and I think all but a tiny bit of that was just 0-0 ties at the start of a game.
41-30 doesn't do justice to it really.
We are now ranked number two in the country. I'm getting more obnoxious by the second.
Still not totally sure about Penn State but they're pretty good. How long has that Derrick Williams guy been playing for them? He's like the opposite of a Chinese female gymnast.
Colt McCoy is great. He's my favorite non-Alabama player.
Yeah I picked Derrick Williams to lead them to a Big 10 title every year since his freshman year. They had the 1 and 2 overall rated guys of that class, the other was a corner, who?
