I watched the Strangers today, the new flick with Liv Tyler.
I was really looking forward to it and for the first 30 minutes it delivered, then it was just awful, really reallly generic and formulaic.
It was a really shit film I thought :-\
Devil's Rejects on the other hand, now that's how to do a great slasher type movie :cool:
Oh and it's not really horror more of a comedy but Evil Dead 3 Army of Darkness is one of my favourite films of all time

Yep Poltergeist is definetly a shit your pantser... The Creepy preacher that little old woman with the crazy voice and the fukin clown :mad: that dissapeared off the chair and choked the kid... That movie still gives me the chills... Scared shitless of that one, wont even watch it as an adult...
Amtyville horror the original is another one that makes me roll up in a corner;D That gotdam house should get burned to the ground with the little red pagan room in the basemant... Yeesh!!:(

I remember watching The EYE not so long ago and that was kind of creepy.Some good old jumpy parts throughout the film.The bit were their are talking in the cafe is a scary part.

There was a couple movies that I have watched and felt a little frieghtened after watching them. Here they are
Amityville Horror - the original one.
The Blair Witch Project - I saw this movie the first day it opened up in theatres and didn't know that it was actors in the movie I thought they just found someones homemade video and made it into a movie. After finding out that it was a actually actors playing roles it wasn't as scary as I thought before.
The Strangers - I just saw this one a few months ago in the theatre it was actually kinda scary because shit like that could really happen.
funny how when i watch those video clips everyone posted it doesn't look scary at all. the thing about horror movies is that you have to get into the mood of the story. you just have to watch the entire film from the beginning.
