No surprise in our poll result so far... It agrees with the opening line set by Vegas oddsmakers... More or less a 2-1 odds in favor of Hoya... Not really a mismatch... :lolhaha:

Just read that the fight is set for december this year and that Pacman will recieve 40% of the takings instead of the 70-30 that Oscar wanted.Just thought i'd let you know folks.Should be a cracker,though i hope that the Hatton vs Pacman can be made somewhere in the near future:cool:

I'll be rooting for PAC but I think the size difference is just too much to overcome and ODLH stops him around 8/9.
There was an interesting article in one of the boxing mags (boxing weekly? can't remember the name) that I read today savaging ODLH for fighting all these smaller opponents and the effect it may have on his overall legacy. It suggested that a better opponent would be Margarito (who is due his big payday after the Cotto victory) - I'm inclined to agree with this.
I'm gonna go DLH but I think making 147 is going to be a struggle for the Golden Boy.
I think its going to be a very exciting, closely contested fight!!!

To be honest, you are another reason why I really really want to see this fight :). I've seen how you are so sure that PAC will win and have that laughing smiley everytime you mention how PAC will win with ease. I want to see your reaction if the fight doesn't go your way. You can't say you are being sarcastic, you already said you are dead serious that PAC will win with ease. I see the fight going either way but give ODLH a higher possibility and edge.

i voted for pac to win, dunno how but i want him to win. PAC will heavily rely on stamina and speed. he will try to shoot his way in, land a couple of shots then get out right before odlh throws a bomb.
odlh on the other hand will rely on his jab,reach and power but lately he kinda forgets to throw the jab half way into the fight (its not the night of the jab-odlh)
and he losses steam easily, once that happens his jab and power are gone he will also be a lot slower. perfect time for pac to pepper him with punches.
pacs chin will be tested in this fight, i really hope he can pull it off.
Shame on both fighters for having this fight/circus. I hope the little guy wins though.

if dlh is dehydrated during fight night, pacman could possibly win it. a couple of solid body punches coming from pac's left could cause wind problem for dlh during late rounds of the fight.
