Well according to the announcers it seems like they are running ahead of schedule and right now they are showing some highlights from both boxers. I would say about 30 minutes...

German tv just started broadcasting 10 min ago, showing interview with the fighters etc. Pretty sure they start at 11pm local time (10pm in the UK, 6pm(?)EST), so in 20 min or so.

AA won first round easily imo. Not that great a round though, even if AA did get a few good shots in.

Marquez needs to try to get to the body. At least he's being somewhat smart by not wasting too many punches hitting Abrahams gloves up by his face. But he needs to be more active.

I got it 1-1 after 2 close 2nd but Marquez was more active.

Well Marquez did get more active in that round.

He needs to keep going to the body.

I gave round 2 to Marquez.

2-1 Abraham, big shots he hurt Marquez 2-3 times.

Abraham stole the round at the end. 3-1

A little actinig by Abraham there, that wasn't a low blow.

Marquez should keep working the body, he's doing a good job of it.

I think Abraham is hurt in the ribs, he was hush hush in the corner and seemed to favor it... He better blow Marquez out of there then

4-1 Abraham he does just enough to win rounds, very clever fight.

Well so far, I only give Marquez the 2nd round, the rest belong to Abraham.

Abraham dominated that round 5-1 Marquez face is getting red, didnt see a cut yet. Marquez is going backwards. The fight is stopped in between rounds, guess he was hurt.

I was close, I predicted a win for Abraham by TKO in the 7th.

Fight stopped after round 6. AA wins.

Strange stoppage too (cuts?).

No, IMO I think Marquez corner did not want to see him take a beating.

If you read an earlier thread I said Abraham mid to late ko ;D it was a pretty boring fight, where was the desire from Marquez and his corner. They may as well have not fought, just because he was getting beat doesnt mean he couldnt have given him a good go. I know he was cut but its boxing for christ sake. Boring fight really.

I hope Abraham can move on from here. I would like to see him at 168 if he is having weight troubles. He is very strong for a middleweight so he wont have any problems fighting there IMO. I do want to see him fight Pavlik though.

Is it just me or do Abraham's punches look stronger each fight?

good win for AA, not the most exciting fight, but it wasn't horrible either.

Dunno if you guys catched it, but in the ring after the fight Abraham was asked about Sturm, and declared himself ready. That would be a huge fight in Germany, and actually a pretty good fight for the rest of us too.

In the studio after the fight the announcers are talking about Sturm too - and Kelly Pavlik.

Raul jabbing now. Nice one/two by Marquez. More jabs. Arthur using his jab now. None really landing. Another one/two by Raul. Hard right by Arthur. Arthur misses a big right. Raul counters with a left. Nice combo by Arthur. Raul slipping well. Raul digging the body. Nice jab by Marquez. Abraham blocking many shots.

Raul tentative now. Arthur goes to the bodt with a right. Nice one/two combo then to the body by Arthur. Good hand speed. Raul holds.
