Yes hopefully he'll learn to keep his bloody HANDS UP!!
The thing is,he is a good fighter. He has the skills but he just fucked up. I am impressed with what i see. His movement is good, very accurate with his punches but he fights with his hands down alot! In the last fight i saw him in, it went the distance i think and he was getting hit an awful lot for someone with his speed and footwork. He may have those tools to be a slick boxer but he doesnt have the ability to slip punches as good as he should. I think he reminds me alot of anthony mundine with his style in parts (bit of roy in there too) but he doesnt have the evasive abilities these guys have/had. When will guys learn that being all macho and getting hit doesnt make boxers. Hit and dont get hit is the aim of the game, its the sweet science. Keep ya hands up Willie and dont go straight back with your left hand down coz as you found out last night, leaves you wide open for a right hand ;)
Yeah spot on snakey. He made a mistake and good on Elomar for capitalising on his mistake. Whatever you think of him he stuck to his guns and saw an opening and took it. Rematch will be good.
