Maybe because he doesn't speak English and can't give a good interview or truly appeal to the public??? Talent is one thing but charisma (or some sort of drama that appeals to the imagination) will always get a fighter a bigger push in the public eye.

Rearranged face doesn't mean the fight isn't close, a fight is judged by who wins what rounds, and rewatch teh cotto-Paulie fight because even though Paulie's jaw looks dislocated he is the one landing combinations, he is outjabbing COtto down the stretch, cotto looked really good early on, then as the fatigue likely from weigh loss kicked in, he was getting tied up a lot by Paulie, and he wasn't effective. IT was a close fight. Cotto won by 3 or 4 rounds, but likely two of those rounds he won were pretty competitive. That means out of 12 rounds about 8 or 9 of them were relatively competitive, that is a close fight.Quote:
