Anyway,I`am A hard -core Boxing Fan for about 33 years now,You aint gonna tell me nothing about the fight game, you have your opinions and I have mine, and at the end of the day thats all they are,....opinions,
But this is A fact.... There`s only one Ricky Hatton,...And on that night he got KTFO!,....And J.Cortez had nothing to do with it.
He did he stopped the fight he could of given extra time for Hatton to recover ;D!
But he did have somthing to do with the fight by letting PBF get away with the elbows and constant turning his back or did you miss that.Anyway the fight is well gone lets look forward to Hatton-Pacman.
I really hope you're joking with that, Hatton didn't even go down from an individual punch & there was no way he was getting back up. Also it seems as if there are a few people on here whose attitudes to PBF are taking a leaf out of Moono's posts about Pac. Personally even if Hatton retires with just defeats against Floyd & Pac (which I think he will probably lose) than I still think his 'legacy' will be greater than that of Calzaghe purely based on the fact he fought more dangerous opponents throughout his career, & I say that as someone who likes JC more.
Re: Hatton/Floyd = F* what a boring fight...!
And this is what `i`am talking about when I say it get`s tireing to hear Hatton Fans continue to make excuses for him.
The thread is titled Hatton -Floyd F--- what A boring fight,or some shit like that?
But you just know the content of the thread will be A breeding ground for the excuse makers,Pathetic really.
I like both fighter`s equally, let the best man win.that`s all.
That night the better man was Mayweather,Simple as that!Frankly I was surprised that Floyd stopped Ricky,we all know that Floyd can punch but is much more of A Boxer.Ricky was At fault for leaping in on Mayweather, and Hatton admitted to as much right after the fight, and then,...after A little excuse makeing of his own,has seemed to have gotten over it,his Fans need to do the same!

Where we will get to see the same thing happen again.
Re: Hatton/Floyd = F* what a boring fight...!
If you don't like watching Mayweather and think all his fights are boring, maybe, but I thought this was the most entertaining fight for Floyd in years.
I'm a big Hatton fan, but I let's be fair. Ricky beat KT using all kinds of borderline tactics, and he's used them pretty regularly. I don't know of too many people complaining about how Dave Parris let Hatton get away with bloody murder against Tzsyu. I know, the complaint against Cortez is that he let Floyd get away with elbows but wouldn't let Ricky hold and hit. I guess what goes around comes around. That's part of boxing, and Hatton should have known that he couldn't fight the same fight against Mayweather. It's wasn't Floyd's elbows that hurt Hatton, it was the counterpunchers. Even if he had been able to get away with it, it wouldn't have mattered because Floyd was getting the better of him inside and out.
Still, Hatton was making it competitive until the point deduction. I don't know if he lost his composure, or if just realized that he would need KO and went for broke. I gotta give him credit, he went in to win or go out on his shield. Floyd deserves more credit than he gets for stopping Hatton. It shows that Floyd still has power against people who at his natural weight. That was a beautiful counter hook and a great example of ring generalship to take advantage of Hatton's over aggression like that.
I wouldn't mind seeing them do it again if Hatton gets past Pac. Mayweather Sr. is making some nice improvements to Hatton. I'm not sure if would daddy actually train Ricky to fight Jr, but wouldn't it be a great story if he did? I just hope that Ricky keeps his weight down and keeps fit. At his age, his usual antics are going to take a much harder toll on his body. I don't see him getting past Pac if he blows up in weight between now and May needs to take it all down again.

Ricky starts training for Pac, February the 1st. He only has 1 month to put weight on.

Wow, a full month camp! That portends well for Hatton fandom :) Of course with him out of training for the holidays, he may have put on 30 already ;)
