Brutal indeed. Painful to see. I'm not sure of this should be in the category of best knockout or worst knockout. A 38 year old and well past it Norton, defenceless at the end, takes a few shots too many from a heavy banger before the ref finally jumps in. :(

I had a personal beef with this fight.No I wasn't born yet but when I watched all the hype and all of Cooney's earlier fight's Ken Norton was commentating and every single fight Cooney was in Norton bashed him and said some nasty racial s**t. Ala Holmes in there fight. Nobody put a gun to Norton's to get in the ring that night hell he thought nothing of Cooney but he was a great white hope who had been carried as later HBO would try to make clear with the legendary night's episode. All I can say is he disposed of Norton, Jimmy Young who beat Foreman, Ron Lyle, John Dino Dennis who was a very good fighter people forget about.

Frankie Liles vs Tim Littles

Tim Littles was fighting all dirty throughout the fight until he walked right through Frankie's right hook to the jaw. Wow! That punch could be heard clearly. I can imagine Liles saying in his head "Timbeeeeeeeer!". Time Littles went face first to the floor and stayed in that position until they counted 10.

A lot of people had racial things to say about Cooney's fights, especially the one against Holmes. Holmes was not the worst offender by far. Nor was Cooney. Nor was Norton.

Sure, Norton went in out of free will. And ended up taking shots while sitting on the ropes with his hands at his side.

One of the funniest was Lennox getting dropped in a heap against Rahman, he couldnt get up, his corner had to drag him to his feet and then Steward tells everyone that Lennox asked "who wan";D

Ok Lennox returned the favour but it wasnt from just One shot and Rahman did get back up to his feet but a bit wobbly, he was stopped on his feet, lennox needed help, Hasim didnt;D

Edit; Ha ha, I just watched the ending of Rahman Lewis 2, I forgot that Rahman fell back over but oh well he did get up under his own steam Twice!!

Lewis was out!

I can't think of the fight but it was the fight with Quarry getting hit with a bomb that drops and he looks out cold. Then snaps out of it get's up and stops his man in the same round or maybe the next. It was miraculous though something that came out of the movies. Anyone know which fight that was.

Sorry for mentioning something that is not boxing. But Rampage "Howlin at the Moon" Jackson's KO of Chuck Liddell was hilarious. It looked for all the world like Liddell is out cold and flat on his back, then Jackson lands another shot and Liddell's eyes pop wide open, like the last shot just woke him up and he's thinking "Holy Shit! I have to do something here!"
