You know what I do think that SaddoBoxer is a clear Pac-fanboy, but I don't think he even pretends otherwise and he's not one for sending abusive messages or the like if you disagree with him on something so I think that's kind of unfair.
Agreed I think its time we all stop Saddos from becomming Eastside no #2.

Well said bro...
It's clear I'm a PAC fan... I'm just presenting facts here that PAC dished out worst beatings to Barrera, JMM, Morales, Diaz, Hoya, etc. and it's possible Hatton is next to receive such kind of beating...
Everybody here can present/post their opinion about this topic... If you got an opposing thoughts then I promise I will not get mad at you... ;)

More like the EXACT OPPOSITE of Moono...
I'll give him this. Whenever anyone insults him or calls him a "Pacfan, nuthugger, etc." he always keeps his cool and just talks in a calm manner...

Pac's face gets pretty screwed up after fights too..
Inflicted the worst beating to JMM:confused: yea all the way to a draw:rolleyes:

If Pac lands his fast combos often like i expect him too, Hatton's face will be a mess.

LINK --> Is Manny Pacquiao the man to end Ricky Hatton's career ?
"There are many who think so. The retirement of Joe Calzaghe in the last week in the UK, followed by debate and counter-debate, has focused again the spotlight on Hatton, who faces arguably the most dynamic pugilist on the planet at present in Pacquiao. He's also a politician to boot.
But it could spell the end, and one which Hatton refuses to contemplate at present. Pacquiao has the destructive style to finish a fighter. Oscar De La Hoya, for example, shouldn't fight again.
He was destroyed by Pacquiao. Yet one suspects De La Hoya's fighting ego will refuse to allow him to end a wonderful career on such a poor note. That was not the De La Hoya we know who was dismantled by Pacquiao last December.
Pacquiao is going to be a serious threat to Hatton's career, as a second serious going over in the ring could - indeed should - spell the end. But will Ricky Hatton be able to set off into the sunset as Calzaghe has done ? "

I said it before and I'll say it again..... Hatton is a Brawler not a dancer. I think this fight will wake him up. He'll learn the hard way that he's got to go back to what got him to the top of the Jr Welterweight class.
So he will finally realize that for some styles he can't just bully his way in. Hatton can beat any Jr Welterweight, if he just does what he best. That includes Mayweather Jr and Pacquiao. Being defeated by Pacquiao should just light his fire... and not spell out the end of his career... His next step, if there is no rematch clause, is to OK his way through the Alphabets. So he gets beat by two of the greatest fights in the new Millennium. Facing the biggest money draws is every fighters dream at least once in his career and Hatton will have done it at least twice. That would be huge on any fighters resume. Hatton is not at the end of his career looking for one more win before he retires.
What... a loss is suppost to make Hatton wallow in self pity or turn to the bottle (he does that anyway). No way! Hatton is a pure fighter and that commands respect from the writers because he's earned that!

Hey man, you're right. He see's Pac as unbeatable, greatest boxer ever to step in the ring, perfect, etc. But he can at least debate without insulting you or giving you neg reps just for disagreeing.
But yeah, Pac may inflict some damage on Hatton. Hatton is prone to getting cut but then again Pac gets cut often as well.

Hatton showed some kind of decline in the Lazcano fight... These are probable things that most likely might happen during or after the fight, that's why people this early were already asking these questions:
Is Manny Pacquiao the man to end Ricky Hatton's career?
Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Could be... I think it's a matter of who could land those bombs first... If Ricky would be the first to hit solid shots, then Pac could be on a big trouble and drop early... On the other hand, Pac's punches make faces bloody and bruised that may slow Ricky down and result to a stoppage... IMO;)

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
I like how in true typical Saddoboxer fashion he left out some other important quotes in his summary of the article
"Knowing when to finish is a great fighter's hardest decision.
Pacquiao, too, must face that point some time soon."
Gareth A. Davies
"Will Hatton retire at the right time ? Will Pacquiao retire at the right time ? Will one of the careers be ended on May 2 in Las Vegas"
Gareth A. Davies
" is a tough one to call, as both men have huge fan bases, and they receive adulation and adoration in a way that few people/sportsmen have ever experienced. The decision for both men of when to hang up those gloves will probably be the toughest fight they will ever face in their lives."Gareth A. Davies
The article is basically about how all fighters are faced with the same decision of retirement, sighted good examples as well as bad examples of fighters timing to hang them up.

Again Hatton is the bigger man, totally used to the weight. Pac is facing his first real test above 135 (with ODL hindsight vision).
x2, it really depends how Hatton fights. If he retrogresses or keeps his new style. Does anyone know if 24/7 is going to make a film on them training?

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
This thread is stupid, you say you are presenting facts but those are not facts, those are opinions, very one sided opinions.. yet that's all I seem to see in pac fans nowadays, one sidded pac nuthuggers. I am tired of everyone saying pac will destroy Hatton... wake up. Hatton without a doubt hits harder than any opponent pac has ever fought (With the exception of Oscar maybe.. but he barely threw 10 punches a round).
Hatton is also VERY good at closing down the distance, which in theory will neutralise any speed advantage pac man has and then you know Hatton will be smashing his ribs to pieces. The only way I can see pac keeping this from happening is if he jabs superbly which may not be so easy as it was for Mayweather, as Mayweather Snr seems to be focusing on Ricky's head movement a hell of a lot, and even if he does catch Ricky with these jabs as he comes in Ricky will probably walk through them. I don't at all think pac is a one-hit banger, I just think he hits hard and often however against Hatton he wont get the opportunity to hit often. Maybe I'm starting to sound like a Hatton fan boy now but I'm merely stating my opinion, i'm not declaring them fact....

Yeah atlast we get some facts instead of opinions
Im not a Hatton fan . I like the bloke and wish him well cuz he is a Brit but I wouldnt call myself a fan as he isnt my type of fighter
Saying that I give him the edge in this fight. Styles make fights and im not convinced Pac can keep Ricky off him. An old Barrera and Marquez seemed to have figured out how to neutralise Pac and Ricky although he doesnt share their class makes up for it in size and strength .
I can see Pac having sucess with a few flurries early whilst Hatton establishes his range but as soon as he is in full swing and has his rythm then its gonna be a painful night for the Flip. He was close to quitting vs Marquez after taking afew body shots . Even Roach admitted it . Ricky wont stand off him though like the cautious Mexican. Ricky will maul him and stop him . Cant wait !

One shot of Pac straight left will change hatton's warrior mentality. He'll lose all his confidence once Hatton felt the sting. I don't see hatton winning any round here. I see pac dominating like the way he dominates Diaz, DLH, & Lucero. Hatton will resemble like the bigger & Faster version of Lucero there with Pac. Pac by KO rd 5!!!

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Hatton need to get inside to reach Pac. His short arms is a Major dissadvantage 20' compared to 25" by Pac. Hatton's pressure only works against a weaker & slower fighter than him. Unfortunately Pac is the much quicker & I think is the stronger Puncher(or Sharper puncher).
Hatton's advantage is his strenght but he can't use it because Pac will pepper him from the outside with Jabs & Straight left. Pac has a very good head movement, even in a clinche he's aware if there' punches coming( see Velasquez fight). Expect Pac to land a straight left everytime Hatton Lean to his left to get close to Pac. Jab will be ther all night. Hatton will be busted by rd 3. KD on rd 4 & Pac finishes him around rd 5. Sorry Hatton Fans... I seldom make a wrong Predictions!!!

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
I think both are tough fighters with huge hearts. I think it will go the distance with lots of manhugging as one poster put it :) (on Hattons part). I believe Hatton will have his moments but in the end will receive his worst defeat at the hands of Paquiao.
-
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
To be honest i used to pick Ayrton senna to win every race too but didnt mean i knew everything about car racing.Same with Tiger Woods,Kelly Slater,
Seriously you Philipino guys are blessed you got a freak of guy there in Pac man he fights a certain way and I think hes unbeatable at the level hehas come to as well and thats great for you all. Be a bit more grasious in here and we'd like you alot more as well.its not that hard.
-
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Pac will be in a real fight especially for the first 6-7 rounds IMO. Hatton has really good feet and will be able to put real pressure and keep up with him unlike Oscar.
What it comes down to for me is how much Damage can Hatton do early in the fight to help slow down Pac later in the fight? If he can, Hatton has a solid chance. If he cannot, Pac will start punishing him late big time.

I will make it clear for you. The facts I presented: Pacquiao inflicted the worst beating to Barrera, JMM, Erik Morales, David Diaz, Oscar DelaHoya and many other boxers. That's what happened, they were established facts. Are you with me??
Now with these facts, it's highly possible that Hatton will also receive a very bad beating at the hands of PAC. So questions were asked:
Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Is Manny Pacquiao the man to end Ricky Hatton's career?
Do you think PAC will score a knockdown on Hatton?
.
-
Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
There seems to be a mania about Manny since he took out Oscar...The man is'nt unbeatable as his record shows and he will struggle against Hattons power!!
Ricky looked somewhere near his best against Paulie and all the signs that his style was returning to that of old under Floyd Snr were there...he moved in at angles, got his jab working for him and varied his combinations a hell of a lot more than he had done under Billy Graham in recent years!!
This fight is'nt a forgone conclusion for Manny as people seem to think and I reckon Hatton will take 7/8 rounds to stop him!

JMM was a friggin draw the 1st time and Pac got a Xmas present in the 2nd fight... Far from beatings.. JMM fuked up Pac's face pretty bad too dude..
David Diaz:confused: who gives a poop about that ham and egger, he was a paper champion to begin with.. Now all of a sudden its relevant that Pac beat him up.. I got news for you dude, Erik Morales beat that joker and got shafted.. Yea the same Erik Morales that you brag about Pac turning into a shot fighter
Even if the judges saw PAC-JMM 1 as a draw, it does not change the fact that PAC gave JMM a beating... You could make a case that JMM also gave PAC a beating but that's another story or thread...
PAC definitely gave Erik Morales the worst beating in Erik's whole boxing career... PAC was the 1st one for knocked down Erik and the 1st boxer to stop the granite chin Morales... This fact can't be denied...
So PAC giving boxing legends (Barrera, JMM, Morales, DelaHoya) a worst beating, it's also possible PAC will give it to Hatton, isn't it?? Am I right??

I think it's also important to note that this question "Is Manny Pacquiao the man to end Ricky Hatton's career?" comes from a British boxing writer...

I'm listening dude (actually reading ;) )... You can make a case that Morales also dished out a beating on PAC in the 1st fight but facts still remains, PAC beat the hell out of Morales in the 2nd and 3rd fight, right?? ;D

Even if Pac gave Barrera, Morales, DLH, and JMM which i dont think was so bad...
Hatton is a total different fighter than all of those in so many ways.
Styles make fights.
Hatton is closest to prime than all 4 of them.
Hatton is 140 KING.
Hatton will test Pacman in so many ways.
Im not ruling out Pacman I juzz think Hatton is at an advantage so im giving him the odds.

Good opinion and I respect that... This is what I expect as answer to my question... Actually it is just a simple yes or no question but you guys wanted to change some facts... Is it really that difficult to accept these facts that PAC gave a worst beating to some boxing legends?? I think it's not hard to accept... ;)

No, I'm not. Those aren't facts, those are opinions.. and many people on this board will disagree with you. You seem to think your opinion counts as established fact???
It's facts, it already happened ... Is it really difficult to accept these facts, these realities??
So who in fact dished out the worst beating to Barrera? to JMM? to Morales? to David Diaz? to Oscar Dela Hoya? Can you tell us??

Hatton's advantage is his strenght but he can't use it because Pac will pepper him from the outside with Jabs & Straight left. Pac has a very good head movement, even in a clinche he's aware if there' punches coming( see Velasquez fight). Expect Pac to land a straight left everytime Hatton Lean to his left to get close to Pac. Jab will be ther all night. Hatton will be busted by rd 3. KD on rd 4 & Pac finishes him around rd 5. Sorry Hatton Fans... I seldom make wrong Predictions!!!
And why is that do you think ?
Look for my old predictions from ESB to Pacland & to myboxing forum or google any of my predictions. You'll be amazed how accurate some of them are.
No thanks my friend I dont need proof, I belive you, just asking how you think you do it?
Are you good at all different predictions over all the fields of boxing or do you concentrate on mainly Pacman and how he deals with each fighter?
Its still good if you can pick the round and how the fight will go. Well done.
 Can we get you a drink or something?
