PUBLIC PLEA to Pac fans and Hatton fans

My plea....This fight is going to be explosive and heated.Whatever the outcome.....can we steer away from a repeat of the Pac/Marquez 2 after math.Seriously.that was rancid and was the only time It sucked being here.B!!ch this,mexican that,etc.Debates,disagreements and good jabbings are one thing but that aftermath was a sewer.We're better than that,? no matter who you call your favorite.Oprah moment over;D

Oh yeah,Im picking Hatton to cave in his rib cage after climbing off the deck.But respect Pacquioa big time.Good fight all around!!

I really like both fighters a lot. I can't say I have a huge favorite for this one. But, for me I'd like to see Hatton pull it off. I think Pacquiao has danced through the divisions nicely, but he didn't clear them out. At least Hatton stayed at his weight and cleaned shop. He's been a long time coming for a big fight. (at least, one that he could win!)

I'll be on here after to take my whoopings like a man for saying this, but I hope Hatton breaks Pacquiao's will and body!

I swear I thought this was a anti-Pac-nutthugger thread at first glance???

BTW, I'm sort of rooting for Pac, for two personal reasons:

1. Pac went up several notches in my Favorite Fighters List, after destroying and humiliating Oscar. And,

2. Pac's already p4p # 1. He can't go up from there. Whereas some Hatton fans will make outlandish claims on p4p should Hatton win, and I just couldn't stomach that.

The only reason I could probably turn against Pac and root for Hatton would be the thousands of fanatical and sometimes non-sensical posts from Pac fans. I haven't reached that point yet.

nobody needs a reminder, especially when you been repeating it everyday since December 6th, but yea i'll be reminding you of the beating Mayweather puts on him, assuming Manny gets passed Ricky Hatton. honestly good luck to both guys next week, but was rewatching a couple of Ricky's fights and he has more than a chance to beat Manny, don't know why such favoritism for Manny, honestly to me it's about as 50/50 as it can get

And as I've said 100 times before, I think Hatton will win. Problem is... his fans are gonna go haywire and demand that Hatton be vaulted to # 1 p4p, which again... is WRONG.

The oddsmakers are being blinded by Pac's win over the shot DLH. While Pac's performance WAS impressive, it seems to have blinded his fans to the fact that Hatton is still the bigger man. Which is why he shouldn't be made a god when he beats Pac. (Again, for the record... I'm rooting for Pac.)

I'm a big Hatton fan and I know he can win with the right gameplan, but you're right, anyone who says Ricky should go to #1 P4P if he beats Manny is just being ridiculous. I'd hope most of the Hatton fan's here would agree with you.

the way i see it is, if they wanna glorify how DLH lost to Pac because of how good he is, well Hatton's size shouldn't really matter

Just make sure you stick to that as well miles, because as much as I like you, I don't know anyone as quick with excuses for their fighter as you mate ;)

I think regardless of what happens we will lose a fairly sizable percentage of posters who have Filipino flags on their profiles should Hatton prevail. Although hopefully the guys who are hardcore members like SB will stick around, as bizarre as it is saying this, the guy does have decent boxing knowledge when he's not talking about Pacquiao ;D
