Pacman by TKO. Hatton has the power but not the talent to beat pacquiao. Hatton will be overwhelmed by pacman's hand speed and excellent footwork...Hatton doesn't have that... Hatton will have more of his time thinking where those blows are coming from than brawling or bullying pacquiao.
Pacquiao can't hurt hatton? pacquiao will not knock hatton by one punch he'll definitely tear him apart little by little with his stingy punches...
hatton was hit by paulie malignaggi lots of times during their fight and should have had gone down if only paulie had the power....

I'm starting to feel the same. All along I have been saying that Pac is going to mawl Hatton and stop him. But after looking back at Pac's stoppage defeats (ok they were a long time ago) I'm wondering whether Hatton can do a job on his body and stop him.Quote:

hatton doesn't have a footwork like pacman does...stepping in and out..moving sideways...it would be very difficult for hatton to catch him...he'll be eating up lots of pacman's gloves first before he can throw a punch and pacman will be out of sight his sight before he lands that punch.
Pac is good, but he isn't Pernell Whitaker defensively. He will be there to be hit. He is an offensive fighter at heart, and that will always lead to the possibility of being tagged, especially by someone who is as quick on his feet as Hatton is. You seem to have visions of DLH and Diaz in your head, I see it being a lot more competitive than that.Quote:

Pacquiao Vs Morales II (IMO was the more impressive of the 2 wins against Morales)

Pacquiao Vs Barrera II
Pacquiao Vs D. Diaz
Pacquiao Vs DLH
and Hatton has enough movement to trouble Pacquiao, he's a strong small man and IMO can muscle around Pacquiao (he did it against Mayweather who's bigger than Pacquiao), Manny still doesn't fight very well on the back foot, and is very hittable with the right hand and uppercuts, Pacquiao's jab is a tapping jab, not a great one but it does it's job, keeps you distracted and allows him to work off of it with right hooks or the straight left, but he keeps his head straight up when jumping back, and i do mean jumping, Hatton can seriously capitalize on that, with lunging double hooks, first the body then the head, it's gonna be a close fight IMO but both have their advantages, i pick Hatton due to his natural strength and power
Totally ruling out either fighter in this match up just seems incredibly narrowminded to me. I'm going for Hatton to win, 7th rd KO. I know Pacquiao has more than enough to offer and it will be one of Hatton's toughest fights, but then, should be one of Manny's toughest fights too ;)
Good observations but we are forgetting a weakness from Hatton. Remember how he got connected vs Mayweather with the so called check hook? He is prone to that and can be seen in many of his fights. Jumping forward to do a left hook. That's something I am concerned of. Pac has a strong left and if Hatton jumps forward to do his leaping attack, it can be a bad idea. Hatton has knocked down opponents with that but he can also be connected. He kept chasing Mayweather around the ring only to receive straight rights to his face. I hope that is worked out in a way or the other with Mayweather Sr. in his corner. Remember the 24/7 video that I posted? Roach and Moorer were spot on when it came to an approach vs Hatton.Quote:

I'll root for Ricky. I like Pac but I want to see him loose so bad! Not by decision because that will have all hardcore PacFanBoys question the decision just like they totally agree with the outcomes of both Marquez fights and even question Morales first easy win. So I want a KO/TKO with Pac flat on his back. Once Pac loses, he'll have a Mexican fan right here ;) rooting for him vs Mayweather, Cotto, etc.
When it comes to their mistakes and strengths, I somehow see Pac winning it no matter how much I don't want to.
