Re: Why not, Haye takes out Wlad in less than four
Does Haye have a chance? Sure he's got a chance, anyone who gets in the ring has A CHANCE vs anyone else.
Is Haye skilled? Sure he's got quick hands, he's got decent power.
My thoughts on this fight is that #1 Wlad has height, reach, power AND unlike any fighter Haye has been in with Wladimir knows how to use them. #2 Wladimir also has "big fight experience", sure Haye has fought Mormeck and Maccarinelli but IMO and I think just the general view is that Heavyweight is the BIGGEST division, not only in size but in hype and coverage. Sure Haye looks confident, sure Haye talks a confident talk, but when he steps in the ring will we see him relaxed and calm or will we see him tight and a little apprehensive?
Haye can talk all he wants to, most of the guys Wladimir has fought in the past and recently have looked a lot better in other fights. They have looked more calm, more collected, more at ease...and when they step in vs Wladimir damn near all of them tighten up either because of the grandure of the event or because they fear Wladimir. Corrie Sanders went at Wladimir with a kamikazi attitude and he's the ONE fighter it actually paid off for, there is a chance Haye could try that but it worked for 1 guy out of 55. Brewster and Purrity took massive beatings and survived them, David Haye can't and won't do that.
I just think Wlad can outbox Haye, Wlad can KO Haye, and hell we don't know how Haye will respond to the pressure of the event, I'm thinking he'll be a tad nervous, too tight to punch in bunches, too deliberate in his attack, and Wladimir will come out demolish Haye, I think he may surprise Haye by jumping on him early.

Haye goes to sleep ala Ricky Hatton.
