True Blood Season Two **SPOILERS**

So i'm super pissed because i just read a spoiler on a site by accident..

these were my thoughts prior to reading the spoiler..

whatever attacked sookie in the woods was either maryann or daphne.. either maryann in her "true" form or daphne because if that WAS maryann then she "turned" daphne or something to that extent because of the scratches on her back at the end..


my cousin sent me a link as to WHAT maryann is, and she's called a "maenad".. this isn't a spoiler.. But the link he sent me wasn't working.. he said it was spoiler free and gave a brief intro to what maryann is.. so i googled it and started reading and now basically know who/what sookie was attacked by, and why.. even though it doesn't make COMPLETE sense yet, it's still a bummer, and i hope they tell us in the next episode what i already know so that it's not this big secret that i have to think about for weeks..

Well you know that they will drag the minotaur issue out for a bit, because they don't like to reveal things too soon. So I have a feeling that you're going to have to keep that secret for a bit.

And thankfully they aren't following the books exactly, because from what Alan Ball said in the 1/2 hour special they did on season 1, that should have been Lafayette dead in Andy's car, and that would have sucked.

yeah, i was told that in the books lafayette was killed prior to this season, so i sort of expected it, and then was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't him..

and on the googling thing, i really hadn't done it before but my cousin sent me a link saying that it didn't have spoilers, and i'm sure it didn't, but my work computer wouldn't allow me to access that page for some reason.. so out of curiosity, i decided to google the topic and went to a different site.. but that site had much more information and basically said who sookie was attacked by and why.. it was really only a sentence or two long, you would think it would be harmless, but nopeee..

That's what was happening in season 1 after she drank his blood, and he told her that he would know when she was in trouble.

If you remember me saying that I read a spoiler.. THANK GOD it happened. It had to do with Maryann being the one that attacked Sookie. As far as the reason why, I will not say.

Curious as to who the guy, i believe his name is "Barry", was and what his significance is.. he has the same powers as Sookie as far as I can tell but he's keeping it a secret it seems..

What was going to happen to Sookie if the limo driver abducted her and she reached the church? Jason would have probably saw her and crazy things would have happened..

Also, the whole Godric thing is still a huge question? Who took him captive? Maryann? the church?.. I don't think the church would have the brains/power to capture him.

just seen that series one is starting on FX channel on friday, i may watch it again as i downloaded them all & watched first series in abt 3 nights but prob now is have to wait weekly to download them now i caught up:(

I was surprised that Godric is a boys body though, didn't expect that. Pretty cool when he killed Eric's battle buddies though.

Yeah I thought it was another great show. The handjob scene was ok but I'm hoping for more in future episodes. Also I hope she doesn't insist on making Bible references during sex, I can't think of anything more off putting, fucking freak.

Her husband is turning more and nerdy every time I see him and the hole Soldiers of the Son thing is really really lame. They are basically exactly how I'd imagine an army of God to be, wholly ineffective.

The most boring episode of the season so far, but was still enjoyable..

Diane, tell me if i am getting a bit too neurotic, but normally i turn the show off before the previews of the next episode, purposely.. i don't want to know anything that is going to happen. THIS week, i was at a friends and he kept it on, and i saw a few seconds, of sookie going to the church and of that female vampire (i assume is bill's maker) talking to Eric i think..

anyway, i think we should make a pact to NOT watch those previews and not talk about them. i kind of like the surprise. if i didn't see those clips or read what you wrote, i wouldn't know that sookie was going to the church and i wouldn't have seen the female vampire at the end talking to the other vampires in dallas..

just an idea as i don't read the true blood forums or anything so besides here and talking to my cousin, i don't hear anything besides the episode from the past week..


anyway.. i would absolutely want to date a vampure! when i was younger, a few of my friends and i had a ridiculous obsession w/ vampires.. and this is going to sound really nerdy and gay, but i was probably like 14 at the time, and was at the mall w/ my friend, and this girl came up to us, said hi and that she knew our friend, and said "aren't you guys vampires?".. totally serious.. it was really funny, but that was a cool moment in my life hahah..

if i had a chance to become one, i would in a second and not think twice about it.

If you can avoid posting that stuff, then thats fine, but no worries. I just feel that because it's only an hour show (as opposed to a 2 hour movie) that seeing 3 minute previews takes away from the surprise.

I already know that i'm going to watch it the next week and am excited about it haha.. but i'm the same way w/ movie previews. If there is a movie that i definitely want to see i will avoid watching trailers so that i can just view it from start to finish without waiting for one scene, or knowing anything in advance.

Although, i did feel that this weeks previews for next week episodes kind of gave too much away.. especially because they show that vampire at the end, and its a mystery as who she is, then they show her talking to the other vamps bill is with.. kind of takes away some mystery..

Okay, is Eggs playing Tara, or does he really not know what Maryann is, and what she does? Because he seemed genuinely torn up when they found the site of a past ritual, but I don't know if that's all part of his game.

So it has to be either Marina, or that male vamp from Dallas that set Sookie up. I bet Sara, and Jason save Sookie, and Godric.

It was weird seeing Bill being so vicious when they did the flashback, and I thought it was gross when him and Marina were going at when they were all bloody. :p

Poor Lafayette. I hate seeing him so broken down. But, I loved how Terry got Andy to back off, and the took care of Lafayette. Terry is not always there in the head, but he always seems to say the right thing, when it needs to be said.

I love that Hoyt is finally standing up to his mother!! Please let them keep Hoyt and Jessica together, I love those two.

Marina, who is Bill's maker. That's who I think could have done it. Her or the guy vamp that wanted to just go in for the kill.

It was a great episode but once again anothre potential beauty has been ruined for me.

I was sooo looking forward to seeing Sarah get down and dirty but every time she gets sexual she starts quoting scripture and talking about Jesus and just weirds me out so now she's turned me off.

I think Maryanne is the one, that girl knows how to party.

Good call RP on eggs possibly being involved in the killing of that fake exorcist, very possible I think.

Shame that Daphne was lying all along, I hope Sam makes it out alive next week.

well you see, normally if i watch the show at my place i turn it off right after the credits roll, end of story. but the past two weeks i was at a friends and we watched hung and then entourage right after true blood and the preview i was speaking of aired some time between those shows.. so it caught me off guard..

but yes, i hate them..

unless it's some sort of action movie which doesn't have much to do with a story line, i don't understand why so many damn trailers come out for some movies.. i used to work at blockbuster when i was 16-17 and we would have to have the trailer DVD on the in-store TV's all day and i really got to see how much the trailers show.. it's crazy.. why bother watching the movie if you have a trailer that shows all of the exciting parts without having to sit through the bullshit?

i digress, but, yeah, i stray from them. just like i don't like when people say "OMG YOU HAVE TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE IT WAS SO GOOD".. depending on the person at least. i will purposely go see a movie where someone has told me it was "incredible" just to tell them they have bad taste when it turns out awful.

when i look back at movies which i had NO idea what they were about, i almost always enjoy them much more.. movies of note: the illusionist and forgetting sarah marshall.. my gf at the time wanted to see them and i had no idea what they were about and i loved them both.. would it be the same if i saw trailers and had a preconceived idea as to what to expect? i'll never know, but i like being caught off guard.

AWESOME episode, this week..

Jessica and Hoyt are gonna do it.. didn't mind seeing her near naked..

I am seemingly right on the Eggs killing the lady in the woods for Maryann while he was possessed as he did the same to Daphne.. didn't mind seeing her near naked again.

I'm frustrated that Bill can't leave the damn hotel room, but I suppose that is the point and how it's supposed to make you feel.

Andy saw the orgy but no one believes him cause he's a drunk.. Which brings me to the whole, "what the hell is maryann's purpose".. she obviously has some sort of "job" for tara, considering Daphne had one, Eggs kills people for her and the servant guy is her servant.. but does she have anything to do with the church and godric? Eric keeps hinting that something more than human had to have captured him..

anyway, the end of the episode was the best. Godric is a beast and i can't wait to see more of him..

So did Eric just go to the church, set him free and then had Godric save sookie? Why would godric do that.. unless eric asked him to?

I assume Jason isn't dead, nor do i know why the girl would shoot him with whatever type of gun that was..

overall awesome episode and this season has totally turned it up a notch..

Yeah I think it was definitely the best episode so far. I'm guessing Sarah shot Jason because her husband told her he was a vampire sympathiser and had infiltrated their church so she felt betrayed.

They completely ruined her for me, a couple of episodes ago I thought she was the hottest girl on the show, then she turned into some kind of weirdo and put me right off her.

Brilliant episode though it felt like a big season finale.
