After all this hype and WWE press conferences I just hope the fight actually happens and no injuries come up a week before the fight.

I just got a feeling Haye will get stopped , his power against the top HW's hasnt been tested , his chin has not been tested , his stamina has not been tested , and if Valuev leans on him and smothers him , will Haye be able to cope.
I hope Haye wins because he is exciting , but as the fight draws nearer , i just dont see Haye winning , but i for one will be watching.;D

David haye out of the ring is getting terribly old. Funny would be cool if he'd stop boxing and be a comedian but other than that.....i guess he has to do stuff outside the ring cause he still hasn't done shit inside of it. No way in hell was Haye scared, why oh why would he go to such lengths to get the fight just to back out at the last minute? If he wasn't injured (and none of know for a fact that he wasn't) then the reason he backed out has to be money.

Why would any fighter intentionally stall his career and earn zero $$$'s in the process? it doesn't make sense.

You could possibly argue that if anyone was scared it was the Klitschko's!

I know you say the clauses they insisted on were standard for championship fight but they definitely were not. If Haye won he'd have to give Wlad a rematch (fair enough), but if he won that he'd then have to fight Vitali. Oh and guess what, the Klits get all the money from all three fights bar UK TV.. Therefore it was smart business on Hayes part to not go through with those demands....

It has made me smile a bit , as to how highly Haye and his team now rate Valuev ;D

When Haye is mentioned one HAS to mention that he tucked tail and ran away from 2 guys who offered him direct shots at 3 recognized titles. And what does he do??? He brags about his skill and scurries away like the chicken shit little rat he is to fight some big Oaf of a title holder.

Why did Manny not have a few fights before fighting Hatton?? Calzaghe fighting Hopkins?? The list is endless, the state of the heavyweight divison is awful have a look at the top 10 pityful.

Difference is he doesnt have to fight the klits 48 thousand times and then fight there dad and grandad and 4 uncles in a tag team match if he is still unbeaton after the 48 thousand fights. Valuev fight is a fight for the wba title one fight win or loose walk away to other things, from the daft clauses the Klits had in the contract it's pretty safe to say they were the ones shitting themselves not Haye.

Skel you can complain all you want to about why the cruiserweights get the shit end of the stick but the 100% FACT of the matter is that even light heavyweights do better in the heavyweight division than cruiserweights.

Being a cruiserweight means either you're too slow or too big to be a champ at 175 or you are too small or lack the skills needed to be a champ at heavyweight.

EVANDER HOLYFIELD is the one guy that was a cruiserweight champ and a successful heavyweight champ. He ruled over a DEEP cruiserweight division and then fought his way to the titles at heavyweight.

Look at David Haye, he's no Evander Holyfield...his style alone (not to mention his horrible attitude) make him a potential subject to beat downs from relative nonentities in the heavyweight division.

Well when his definition of "training for the Klitschko's" amounts to running his mouth all day, we can all see how that MAY have helped him sink this low as he has talked NONSTOP for nearly a year without so much as setting foot in a boxing ring.

....you know upon watching that clip again, that dude playing Valuev got the better of Haye. All Haye said was "Yeah yeah yeah, we'll see" in response to the character saying he was going to hit Haye so hard it's going to make him uglier than Valuev.

I see Haye getting tired very early in this fight, hes going to be moving alot, both trying to keep out of the way and trying to be aggressive, hes going to tire of putting everything in to his punches that I dont think will have much effect on Valuev, Haye is litterally going to be hitting a brick wall, if he still upright, he will slow dramaticly after the 4th and be stopped by the 8th;)
