Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Blimey, another guy backed the MD.
Was it just a straight MD? Or you also backed the SD and UD?
Hard enough to get the correct outcome let alone chancing the exact result.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I'm not much of a betting man, but I had a £5 (big money) on Haye Valuev for Haye to win in round 8 14-1. Was gutted when the stopped it in the 9th. I might have a dabble on the Martinez Pavlik fight at the weekend. Anyone else got anything on Pavlik Martinez?

Thats not what the evidence says though is it? ;D
Hows Killersheep's sportsbook going for you by the way? ;)
im bottom due to the under/over system being used in killers sports book
Had it of been simply based on who wins killer would of already suspended the competition and awarded me the prize;D;D;D

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Noooo!!! Fuck off HTH!!!
Robertson is my main outright bet on the snooker. I spent hours studying the draw. Seriously you've made me feel sick

haha, lol
same here mate, i always go with 2 on either side of the draw to enhance my chances. robertson and mcguire are the 2 to get on!!

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
The correct score in the snooker is a great bet for an interest. Ok,its the world championship and there will be upsets but by and large you pick who you fancy to win a match and thats one half of the bet up. Its getting the other one thats the killer. I tend to go for a lot of 10-9s in the first round as theres always 1 or 2 so your 1st round bets should be covered. Its great for a sweat

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I have had £20 e/w on Williams got 16/1 just after he spanked Ding in the China Open currently 10/1, Williams is getting back to his best when he is on form he is more or less unbeatable. Him or Higgins for me.
Hammer Maguire has been awful this season has gone deep in a couple of events but overall he has been piss just doesn't look interested.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I was thinking about betting on this prop in the Pavlik-Martinez fight.
Either guy knocked down or out = -215 or 20/43
Anybody else like that bet? I was thinking even if it goes the distance there will be at least a flash knockdown. And if Pavlik wins it will most likely be by KO.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
HTH, congrats on winning that £40.62, shame you bottled the other £25 stake ;D
Good bet Tigerfan.

Good bet Tigerfan.
thanking you very much my good man
checked paddypower just before the fight started and they had martinez on points at 5/2 (the original bet i wanted to place)
Another 40sheets added to my vast sum of boxing payouts for 2010
at this rate i can retire by the time i hit 30;D;D;D

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
my weekend betting goes like...
treble
Froch, Adamek, munroe
£20 - returns £100
carl froch rounds 10-12
£10 - returns £110
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I'm going for rounds 7-9, and an individual round 10 bet for either figher.
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
At 9/4 and 11/2 for the stoppage i've backed the Mexican to upset Munroe. He didn't look bad on the youtube clips I saw, and I see nothing in Munroe apart from a big super bantam.
I'm backing Kessler to spark Froch at around the 3/1 mark.
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I'm liking the under 11½ in the Froch-Kessler match. Mikkel throws straighter crisper punches than Taylor who had Froch down. On the flipside Mikkel seems to panic when fighters get inside on him and Froch can do some damage with uppercuts.
Anybody see Froch-Kessler going the distance?

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Got it badly wrong on the boxing last week.
But was rite about Maguire have got a double on Dott and Williams to beat O Sullivan, Williams record v O Sullivan is not the best and he was patchy in the first round but got the job done. Williams has been in good form all year, might not win today but if he wins he has a good chance going all the way.
Dott is on fire 7-1 up v Maguire, Fenster shame about Robertson that Gould where the fuck has he come from?? He look solid as a rock last night.
Bets for the weekend.
Norwich to best Gillingham 1/2
Newscastle to beat Ipswich 4/7
£50 double
Dott to beat Magurie 9/4
Williams to beat O Sullivan 2/1
£10 double
£2 lucky 15
Froch 6/5
Reading 7/4
United 4/9
Newcastle 4/7
Final bet for the weekend
Ferrer to win the tennis in Barcelona 11/4
£20 win....
Pending Williams 16/1 £20 e/w

I was seriously thinking about getting on williams and then found he is only 2/1, thought he`d be much further out than that considering it is o`sullivan. At 5/2 even 9/4 i may well of got on that. Not 2s though

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Just had 20 on higgins at evs, Davis will struggle to get over the finish line.
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
FUCK OFF! Higgins gets a kick as he is about to make it 10-10 now 11-9 the nugget.

He did well to finish the way he did great clearance wtf is up with Higgins though??
Worst performance I have seen in a while from Higgins break building was awful usually his bread and butter.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Fuck me what a comeback from Robertson your money not done just yet Fenster 12-11 to Gould as we speak needs to win the final two.
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Skel I've got the same double as you (Dott/Williams) but got Murphy in with it too. Dott was a great bet to beat Maguire after their first rounds.
How the funk Robertson is still in it i'll never know
I've got to beat Steve Davis instead of Higgins to win my first quarter bet. Tidy.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Herbie Hide is 10/11 or -110 to win the Prizefighter tourney.
I'm thinking about taking that bet.
Do the other fighters pose any kind of threat to Hide? Other than Darren Corbett, I've never seen or heard of them before.
-
Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Hide should piss it in truth.
Am on Selby to beat O Sullivan.

I was thinking about taking it too. It's a couple of journeymen and a few novices whose form looks nothing. A really poor line up.
On paper Hide could win blindfolded.
Problem is it wouldn't be the biggest shock ever to see Hide get chinned.

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
I might back Selby too. Willlaims cost me a good treble. Luckily Murphy got the double up.
Still Got the lucky Aussie, Selby and Murphy running for me.

I am on all the outsiders except Robertson in the quaters, I also backed Murphy at 21/20 at 8-8 today in truth him and Ding were awful apart from the final clear up by Murphy he was shocking Ding just as bad.
I am backing Carter to beat him just for the value, Dott to beat Allen and Selby to beat O Sullivan, Williams safety play let him down today the cunt. ;D

Re: Another £135 earned from the weekends boxing
Am all over Ortiz to beat Campbell at 13/8 on the 15/05, Campbell still not convinced me he is a 140 fighter and Ortiz is a big 140 fighter with power.
