Yep and the 5th round is winding down he is starting to slow down and get hit with counters flush. if Hendrix would throw some punches and use that jab consistantly he could take this over.

Going to be a point when a guy backs him up,takes control and he is NOT imprinting a second gear of skill at this level...when he can afford mistakes.Man he gets hit alot.Great speed,reflex...but fights like a slugger!
Totally agree with Teddy there, it's obvious Lundy started slowing that round I gave it to Hendrix but he should have been pounding that body all round, cause he's not gonna take this on the cards.
Lundy is a knock out waiting to happen. He'll lose that 0 soon enough
Man the output in this fight is quickly becoming worse than most heavyweight fights. Why isn't Hendrix trying to take advantage?
Did he just turn his back and throw a right hand behind himself ??? This is frustrating.
Honestly I think all Lundy has left is clowning and maybe some flurries as teddy would say 'dont buy what he is selling' Hendrix needs to keep pressing.
And to end the 9th round Hendrix does what he should have been doing a round ago. Who knows maybe there may be drama in the 10th cause lundy is done right now in terms of whats in the tank, if Hendrix does what he did to end that round and goes to the body he could take this. But I don't know if he has the mentality to do it
Someone forgot to tell him that hes not born with the 'S' on his chest...have to earn it.Hes semi explosive but eases as quick as he accelerates..too content and frankly showing more flaws than learning basics Imo,no combinations,no jab etc. This might have been different if Hendrix applied pressure,he was catching Lundy clean.
that's the thing he scored three knockdowns and yet there was still a way for him to lose if his opponent pressed it.
From what i've seen he is all flash no substance if he doesn't get you out, he leaves himself open when he throws and fights like he has the fight in the bag and then gets pressed.
But it is a good thing this happened earlier in his career on ESPN cause if he had went onto Shobox with that same mentality and flaws he would be embarassed depending who he is up against.
Well Beck is who he is, at least he always tries to make for entertaining fights.
If he doesnt fix those little flaws he is gonna be a sucker for a counter right or a check left hook
Beck looks like he walked in off the street for this.......ooops.Think I was wrong about him not being ko'd
Down goes Beck...
Beck looking like the late replacement he is, you can see the effort, but physically he looks horrible.
And just to think there was a time when Beck, Guinn and a lot of others were considered the future of the heavyweight division. I see Arreola in Becks place in a few years as well.
haha I love Atlas log and ocean analogy. Tessitore went ' huh hum' as if through pursed lips. You could sense he hates to fucking listen to his preprepared speeches :D
That's twice now that Beck has literally held on to the ropes to keep himself upright.
hahaha Beck's corner going for the temple shot KO with the towel.
Bit of an embarrassing mismatch, I think Thompson could have got him out in a couple rounds if he'd have wanted to.
He's definitely in the top 5 heavies imo, and needs a big fight to get him back in the mix.
He'd be such a live challenge for David Haye.
Good performance by Thompson.
All those people from around 4 to 10 i would love to see fight each other or Haye, I say lock out the Klits until they decide to fight each other all those fights would be more exciting for the Heavyweight division then one with the Klits and Haye is a smaller champion, so instead of fighting a Klit they should all be fighting each other leaving Wladimer and Vitali to have to fight each other or relinquish a title.
Holycrap....John Brown ;D
What the hell is with the switching sides thing?
This is like watching the Peterson brothers in their record padding stage. Opponent that's twice as old and half as tall.
I like Lane though, I think he could have a decent future.
Feel fawking ancient.Remember Brown bouncing heavily touted El Flaco Negron all over the canvas for upset win.Now hes a gloved heavy bag of sorts.Good scalp for Lane.
What Thompson did to Beck in the final round would make me want to hit him with a folding chair. I'm talking about the face smoosh with the sneaky overhand punch.
Beck Vs. Holyfield $59.99 PPV!
:happy0931sb4:
Teddy and Joe talking about the grunts lmao quality. You need to huh not huh huh huh huh huh huh! No just huh huh its hard to huh huh huh huh huh. Now just throw Yoel Judah in there and you got some entertaining announcing and 50s batman style sound effects for a fight.
Hitting Brown has to be like hammering a rusty nail with a tennis shoe
Alright now over to shobox? or is that over already?
I'm really high on Escalante hell of a heart and a killer instinct.
