Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Ha, shit, I was just trying my best to get the stream working and wondering what was happening. Over so soon hey. Or maybe I got the start time way wrong. Ha. Enzo still gets Iced when he steps it up again. I'd like to see him get a rematch against Ofalabi though.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Enzo has the power to trouble anyone just a shame his chin is made of glass.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Wow good to hear he won so emphatically, always liked Enzo he was one of my favourite fighters until he was found out by Haye. Such a nice guy too. A lot more likeable than Calzaghe ever was.
I think Enzo would KO the likes of Audley Harrison, that would be an interesting fight for the British fight fan. I'm really impressed with Enzo's physique for the weigh in too, that's the best shape I've ever seen him in. Don't get me wrong though he wont do much more than this in the boxing ring, his chin is such a massive achilles heal for him......then again, Wlad Klitchko turned his career around with the same problem.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Really pleased for him, I knew nothing on his opponent, but it was widely expected he would be tough.
Now I just need to find a highlight vid...............

He sure does. Not everyone can be Pac, Mayweather or Sven Ottke.
He makes that blatantly apparent.

guess he clearly shouldn't be retired.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Chuffed to see that Enzo picked up the win after I got home tonight, he's a good guy, and not that old.. Just had a look at the record of Alexander Frenkel who's mentioned as a potential next opponent for Macca, pretty hard to judge as it's as padded as a Warren record with guys I'm not sure if I've heard of or if they're just common names you see on boxrec.
Hope that Warren will actually care enough to put his next fight in the UK, or at least somewhere we can see it.

His chin will always limit him but could get a title then have a punchers chance in exciting fights against the top of the division.
Well done Enzo

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Seemed like a fairly good performance, the guy he was in was obviously not in his class, and from his build I thought he looked like a light-heavyweight, but boxrec has him fighting in the cruisers for quite some time.
The only shot that troubled Enzo was the left hook at around 1:02, but he wasn't really rattled. There'll be harder nights ahead, cause they don't all go out in one, but he should be happy enough with that.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
good job by enzo. he looked fast and sharp. it will be interesting where he goes next, but I agree with others that he should revenge his last two losses.

Good call.
The Russian fella looked crapped warming up.
That Euro strap should get him some FFN Sky Sports gigs.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Enzo 'won' the euro title beating a guy that could probably make middle weight. Well done enzo, you're still a bum.
enzo has always looked great beating up guys that are alot smaller than him. when ever he's got in with someone whos been a real cruiser weight he's really struggled or been ko'ed.
He should be fighting in prize fighter.... although herbie hide would probably knock his ass out.

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Would of been more than happy to of seen enzo call it a day after his last display as he just looked as if his heart was no longer in it.
Whatever people wanna say about the guy he was in with last night regardless of his record it still was a complete tomato can!!

Re: Enzo Mac fights for the vacant Euro Strap tonight..
Good old Enzo, I knew he'd win! :)
I'm delighted he won. I thought his comeback would falter around British title level but he already did better than that. Hopefully it gives him a bit of confidence and he goes on a run, you make decent money defending the European title too. I think he'd be in trouble if he fights for a world title again though.

There isnt a hell of a lot at cruserweight(never is) to suggest he might not shock of all shocks gain a world shot somewhere down the line
The only guys are genuinely see annihilating enzo would be huck and cunningham

I don't think Huck is anything special at all. Not saying Enzo does him but i would get the bloke who got beat of huck and beat Enzo name has gone? Oba something re match there then carry on.

I don't trust his chin at all. It looked like he might have got wobbled last night from a punch. He could easily get sparked again at Euro level, hopefully I'm wrong about this too and he goes and gets a world title again. Frank already has two vacant WBO belts lined up for two of his fighters, I'm sure he can manage a third. It'll be Enzo's second vacant WBO belt too come to think of it. :)

Afolabi, thought he had some skill, good defense but zero work rate.
With Adamek and Haye gone doesn't seem to be much there at cruiser which gives him hope of a title. Don't know what Cunninghal is doing now days.
Fair play to Enzo, proved he was serious about continuing, going to Russia where he was probably meant to be an 'opponent' in the promoters eyes. Goin about his comeback the right way rather than looking for favours from Warren. With his confidence back he poses a problem for any current cruiser IMO

Thanks for the link. Will feel odd watching boxing at 5pm on a tuesday but a nice change from the Alan Titchmarsh Show.
Depends on what kind of training i suppose...Not to mention the nasty MMA word on the main board but look at Roy Nelson the guy has a stomach that makes Arreola look ripped but man he can fight and he has great stamina...

Even a shot enzo was massacreing alofabi before his defenses let him down.
Cruserweight is and always will be the dumping ground of heavyweight boxing
