Re: Roach:mayweather doesnt have his legs anymore
Roach is just talking out of his ass here. Mayweather didn't use his movement because he didn't want to give Mosley the chance to get the ball rolling with his feet. He wanted to make Mosley fight flatfooted on the outside3 which he knew Mosley wasn't very good at. I don't even think Floyd was that aggressive, I just think he was standing his ground rather then potshotting. He seemed to be carrying his weight on his front foot which was a bit odd I'm not sure I've seen it from Floyd before.
Roach is just goading. I will say this though, that right hand Mosley hit Floyd with wasn't just a right hand. He blinded him or at least distracted him with a jab to the body and then was able to wing a right hand over that. That's very similar to what we have seen Pac do time and time again. That was kind of interesting.
Roach is very annoying though. To bad Nazim couldn't train Pac.

Well...Floyd is faster and just plain overall more skilled than Marquez. Has anyone seen Pac have a Plan B in any of his fights? He fights one way...overwhelming his opponents with his pressure and stamina. But if you cannot adapt against someone like Floyd...you will get picked off all night. Lets not forget that Floyd thrives in the gym. The guy has incredible stamina. He isn't Oscar, Cotto, or Hatton. If he needs to dance all night...he will dance. If he needs to counter...he will counter. If he needs to be more offensive...he will be (as he showed against Mosley). And he can do all 3 things in the same fight. He has a plan A, B, and C. Pac will be a tremendous challenge for Floyd...simply because Floyd has never faced a GREAT PRIME fighter with so much momentum. But Pac has never faced a fighter has smart, fast, and skilled as Floyd.
This is exactly what I have been thinking; how will Pacquiao be able to cut off the ring when Flody will be circling the ring slightly backing off and landing counter jabs and straights?

I wouldn't bash the guy, cause if he beats pac that just makes pac look that much worse for not beating an old floyd with no legs. If mosely won he'd be the greatest thing since ali right now, but he looses and off to the shelf of guys he's beaten with excuses beside his name. Pac is great, floyd is great so just let them fight ! Whatever weakness roach belives floyd has i doubt he'd been dumb enough to tell the media. Till pac takes the test it's all blah blah blah blah blah....same with the crap floyd spews out of his mouth.
And don't forget Roach is on video record saying they wouldn't fight Mosley unless it was at 142, admitting that he's too good at welter.
So Freddie, the guy that was too good for your so called p4p number 1 to fight gets schooled by Floyd and this prompts you to claim Floyds legs have gone? lol...I think in a round about way he just called Manny Pacquiao a big piece of shit

Round 3: 30 seconds in... Mosley jabs to the body... You tell me what happens next ;)
Re: Roach:mayweather doesnt have his legs anymore
I saw your post on that and I agreed, I don't know if that's really made Mosley completely hesitant but it was about the only time Mayweather snapped off a combo inside of Mosley's punches and it was cool to see.
Re: Roach:mayweather doesnt have his legs anymore
Roach is just clutching at straws. If the best thing he can come up with about Floyd's performance is that he thinks Floyd's legs have gone that tells you all you need to know about what he really thinks of Floyd's performance.
If the fight does happen, and I think Manny will never go for it now, Floyd will just box his normal style and probably win every round. Manny may throw endless punches and never quit against lesser fighters but after two or three rounds of being smashed in the face with Floyd counters every time he tries an attack he'll slow down and will spend the rest of the fight fighting at the pace Floyd wants to fight at. After seeing the Mosley fight there's zero chance that Manny will want to spend nine or ten rounds being picked apart and humiliated by Floyd. There's no way he agrees to the fight.
What we'll get over the next few weeks and possibly months is more bs from Roach and endless bs and obfuscation from Team Needle during any negotiations with the aim of getting as many people as possible in the media and among boxing fans to blame Floyd when the negotiations fall through.
