Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Vick is making one hell of a case for Kolb to sit the bench
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I win the highest scoring bench player of the week with Hakeem Nicks!! It was either him or Lee Evans and I went with the wrong one...

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The Jets just might have the worst offense in the NFL

I've gotta say while Johnson is good, obviously, the best thing about them is they give him the fucking ball. The Steelers are my regional game today and I've got Mendenhall on my team and he's BY FAR their best back and yet they're running three fucking running backs. The Titans just give it to Johnson, end of story.
stupid regional games.
That's what was in store here as well.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Well, that's a victory to open the ballroom but it wasn't a dazzling and flashy one, a win is a win, I guess.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Lowest score out of everyone in the first week....looks like being the Brit in the pack really is a handicap! That first round pick for Reggie Bush seems disastrous, big name and a decent highlight reel does not a good first pick make.
Bring on week two, and the first win (....maybe).

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Got the win. Team still needs work. Eli threw 3 td's to go with his 3 int's. My team is to heavy with receivers. Had to sit Ocho-Cinco down. And he had a big game. The best of all my WR's. Second best was Steve Breaston. Who I also had on the bench. It's tough to decide who to start. I got 3 spots. With 5 top receivers. Ocho, Breaston, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne and Miles Austin.

I never noticed those receivers on your squad. DAMN! I don't have too many to choose from but I sat Hakeem Nicks out of week 1 and he caught all three of those TDs from Eli.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Oi...C-Lo....keep your mitts off Brady, he's miiiiiine!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Brett Favre is such a ball of shit. -2 points today. After like 7 last week. My team is effing loaded outside of QB, I'm probably going to win again today (after scoring like 130 points last week) and I already have 83 points but I'm doing it in spite of that gigantic douchebag. I might have to start McNabb, he sucks but not as bad as Favre.

I'll be asleep by the time the game starts, at the MO, projections for my Pirates: 132, the C-Lo brigade: 101. everything can change in a whim but if the tendency goes as expected and that Manning doesn't get injured and that Hakeem doesn't make touchdowns galore, I have a decent change to snatch the head in the east :)

Good thing you didn't make that trade cause I would've had him in instead of Shaub and he had a great game!

What a big win for the Jets! Who knew Sanchez could outperform Brady in a game that important?

I've been quite surprised too, I thought it would be a fair win for the Pats, very impressive indeed.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Wait, Revis is already on the Disabled list?
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Revis himself said he could be out 1-2 weeks but don't count him out to play against the Dolphins. Does that make any sense?

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Bush's out up to 6 weeks, guess that having Pierre Thomas means more job for him, which is good for me. Next week: The very dangerous Team Gorillas.

Shush, he ain't injured....btw anyone want to trade Reggie Bush? I'll accept anything!
0-2, if it's good enough for the vikes, it's good enough for me.

Look at the free agents, with a smaller league like we have there are always treasures to be found there (at least better than a 0 point RB)

I have a good pool of deepness in matter of RB, I might look what you have that I could be interested in and a trade might be possible..

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Needed the Monday night to take out Gorillas team. 2-0. Who's team is Swansea Sideliners? I got to smash them to move to 3-0.

Don't be so sure bro, that 0-2 record is deceptive....

But the 2-0 is not

I just looked at the calendar and I did notice that I am not fighting the gorillas this week but team FRazier. I did notice another interesting fact: My east coast pirates will fight 3 times the Violent boys during the season, sounds like some fire in perspective between as we, for now, both run the head position in our respective divisions.

First reshuffle of the season completed, dead wood cleared out, more dead wood shifted in! Watch out VD, they're comin for ya!

well your projected total went from 58 to 83, so progress was made!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Well it appears Team Frazier isn't really playing as he's starting Kolb, Grant AND Moreno all of which aren't playing. I had such a horrible week last week he still almost beat me. Furthermore, i'm not so sure Chris Johnson is going have that great of a season. I'm guessing he ends up at the lower end of the top 10 RBs.

With Reggie looking at a long spell on the sidelines now, I think my running back tactics will involve checking on which RBs are out injured, and seeing if I can pick up their no2's from the FAs to pick up some points for me.
True to his name though, so far this year Shockey was Shocking.

3:18 out of my side and he gets a TD. Of course....

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I can't believe I had second thoughts about benching Favre. He's just awful. Adrian Peterson on the other hand is a monster.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Anquan Boldin, 33 points
Mike Wallace, 25 points
What do they have in common? They're both on my bench.

That's what I call a very bad run at the Murphys law. These two, handily, could have brought you the victory :(
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Damn Oumafan, you're outta control this week.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
The game's not over, Austin COlie has 30 points.. and is on my bench:11fb8:
I believed the hype saying Calvin johnson would have the hell of a game and made a piss poor decision :S At least, I should still win the game but 30 more points would have been sweet on my total.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Fucking Star studded receiving core decides not to show up. Fucking kicker misses game winning field goal. And I don't even want to get into Eli Manning. Down by 7 and quickly running out of time. On top of that he's got a player in the Monday night game. I don't. Fucking Rhun seems to have scored the upset of the year.
Side-note: Shut up BG. I don't wanna hear it

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I'm going to put it in strikethrough text, because that reduces the chance of jinxing my weekend, but:
I think I might be in for the first win this weekend, despite my non-existent running backs.

Go thank Eli :vd:

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Fucking Seattle D trying to lose the game away by giving Rivers like a million chances and not covering. Leon Washington says nah we still winning. 99 yards.
