I have this bizarre hatred for Shumenov. Well there's some logic too it, I hate his style and to top it of he has that noise he makes when he punches.
Uzelkov, and fucking hell I'm gonna sound like Teddy here, is kind of the ultimate "spots" fighter.
Uzi is just allowing Shumenov to wear himself down, its the blueprint for beating him. I saw how Shumenov won his title and I can't cheer for that bastard.
BEAUTY! Shumenov is figuring this guy out. Uzelkov is following the arthur abraham theory.

I can't stand Shumenov either, but after watching three rounds of Uzelkov I have no love for him either. At least Shumenov is entertaining. He will tire out if he doesn't get the stoppage though.

Uzelkov's boring. I can't really get behind him even though I dislike Shumenov.
Edit: Yes, CFH, I agree except I don't think Shumenov's entertaining. But at least he throws punches.
Uzi needs to let his hands go Shumenov isn't exactly sparse in offering up chances to counter
I can't believe Teddy compared this guy to Tyson. Shumenov just putting in an honest rounds worth.

this is ugly. I still would be thrilled with an Uzelkov win although I'd root against him next time out.
Uzelkov best thing is that tight,close to the body left uppercut he catches Shumenov with time to time as he jumps in...Once he tires ,Shumenov is in serious trouble down the road
I don't like fights outside at times like this.
Shumenov has a cut under his eye and slowed in the middle of that round, still gave it to him because of Uzelkov's lack of activity, but this could turn around real quick here.

I would LOVE for Shumenov to fight Cloud next.

I heard the Uzi-Tyson reference but I thought the Ali and SRR reference were to Shumenov. I specifically remember the SRR-Maxim reference and that was made to compare this outdoor fight to that one where Maxim allowed SRR to work himself down to where he collapsed.Quote:

Thought Atlas would have spoke on his guy dropping out of Wlad fight after he was featured last week ? Shumenov looked better down the stretch.Consider only 11 pro fights and hes impressive here.
I stopped watching about the 8th. I wish them both bad luck in their future endeavors.
