I already have Lyle. Anyone who thinks Haye has conned his way into the limelight is a prick, please see page one, that memory of yours again......
I take it we are done here.
You didn't debate the topic at hand, you dismissed the very idea of the thread. I for one (though you may not believe me) have not accused the WBA title holder of "conning his way into the limelight" sure I have questioned his motives and his desire to challenge himself, but I never said he didn't have talent....talent on par with either Klitschko brother? Now that's a different story.
And back to the first point I made in this thread isn't the Maccarinelli fight one of his career defining fights or is that now looked on poorly since Macca has been demolished a few more times since then?
It was considered it because Haye said he was moving to Heavyweight and he was accused of ducking Maccarinelli. There was alot of question as to why he wasn't taking the fight as they were considered to be on par with each other and as both were British it was seen as a Benn-Eubank type situation. Haye always insisted they weren't on par, and he would destroy Enzo within 2 rounds. He did, and people were made to look stupid.
For me it is Mormeck to become (un)disputed cruiserweight champ.
3 nights ago I threw on Haye vs. JMM...
What a really good fight and JMM was on the verge of stopping him.
I had the fight dead even and suddenly out of nowhere Haye just blitz JMM.
Haye showed he can dig deep and comeback.
