Thanks, that really helped. I'm not getting knockdowns all that often, but they're coming now!
How do you like the one-button block system? I find it near impossible to land body-shots, even when I'm trying to mix it up (head, body, head, head, body, head, body, etc.). In FNR4 I was a monster with body shots, now, not so much.
Yeah they've made it harder this time. Used to piss me off, I was convinced the controls were shit ;D
Basically you really have to commit your self to go to the body, making sure your upper body is properly leaning into the right positions. Which I found is really risky :-\
It all comes together though.
Finally played the demo last night, really enjoyed it. Gave Cotto a few pastings, including about 4 knock downs in 3 fights. Then lost on points to Ali.
Theyve almost killed the jab off With the new controls which is a shame, it's far more of a brawl now, but still good fun.
It looks stunning too and the career mode looks great.
I'll admit I'm a hypocrite as didn't like it at first.
To b Honest I'm not a fan of things changing but have played alot and pre ordered it at play.com as u get young foreman and free delivery for same price as game!!
I am getting first round stoppages most of the time when I'm PAC, this game is like virtual heaven/paradise and is a visual orgasm
I'm loving it the more I play it. Jab is certainly not dead if you play with Ali!
I may get it when it's cheaper...
See if I can learn it... I don't have much if any time to game now... so afterr playing hours of round 2 and 3 with my mates and getting very good at it... it pisses me off that I have to relearn and adapt loads... I don't have the time but the story mode does look good so we'll see.
It gets some points off my for having a track by the Roots on it though... :cool:;D
