Always remember to use an uppercut when a pug sticks his tongue out at you. ;)

Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Gibson is a better athlete. Hughes's left hand just needs to be higher. Leaving yourself wide open to the right hand is a bad idea!!!!!!!

I don't think Steward can really get much more out of DAwson than Dawson has shown in the past.
Dawson is passive. That is his makeup. He takes rounds off if he is ahead. He takes parts of rounds off (end of rounds when he has won the first 2-2.5 mins of the round). He just isn't aggressive.
Do I think Dawson can't win the fight? No, I don't think that he can't win. He has good physical skills that could really give BHOP trouble. If BHOP can dictate the pace and the distance of the fight then he will win the fight because of his greater desire and passion.
Plus, at what point does BHOP get very old overnight???
I pick BHOP but it should be an intriguing affair.
I'm beginning to wonder if BHOP already has grown old and has just learned to fight in a way that hides it. That's impossible, right?
he has grown old and hides it amazingly well. But his mind is still young and he uses all the tools of the trade. Hitting on the hip, low blows, spinning a guy, headbutts, head games. He uses all of that and he has such good sneaky straight rights. He leads with that sneaky right hands and guys just don't expect it.
Gibson is going to get KO'd violently by a right hand in a minute.
I think you meant Hughes Capt, BTW, Cheers.

Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Both guys are dead tired now,.

it gets hard to remember which no name guy is which!!!! Kudos to Hughes for hanging in and to Gibson for throwing some good right hands (he needs to throw some body shots!!!!!)

Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Why does this guy remind me of Mayweather, for all the wrong reasons.
You aint a super star yet son...do your time
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Gibson has some talent/skill/power, but needs to work on his stamina, he looked gassed several times during the fight, I don't think Hughes is going anywhere with his career.

I was thinking he looked a little like Duckweather myself.

One of the good guys.

Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Antwone vs. Kermit, oh, fuck, Smith is a grunter, I may have to mute this one.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Cintron looks a division or two up from Smith. Smiths biggest advantage is yeling at him thus far....might actually make Cintron leap from the ring again ;D
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Come on Kermit, if you can't starch this mo-fo, you may as well hang 'um up.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Cintron is punching!!!!!!!!!
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
BHOP beat me to it. When Smith barks, Cintron should let his hands go. Cintron wins round 1 by use of the jab to control distance.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Smith is getting to the body.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
My God, Smith is more annoying than the Peterson brothers.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Cintron making a mistake fighting in close for extended periods. Smith can't win this fight at a distance, so keep it there.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Ref needs to DQ Smith for excessive noise.

Yup.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Smith ducks his head down to avoid the right hand. I'd just hit him right on the back of hte head. He is the one making it that way so screw him.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Emmitt Smith, Walt Frazier, and Keith Hernandez get paid well to do the dumb ass commercials.

Yup.
If Smith has a clue he should step left and pound the body time and time again.

YUP.
If Cintron had a clue he would make sure at least 30 more seconds of each round is at a distance. He wins every second of the round that is at a distance.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Watching these 2 guys is frustrating in that you can see what each needs to do so clearly.
-
I don't see the big deal with the grunting .... Dude could fart everytime for all I care long as he fights . To each their own let a fighter do whatever makes him comfortable. Shit ever since Allan green stopped looking down at his feet cause everyone else had a problem with it he's gotten his ass beat .
-

heck Kermit freezes the guy when he feints. He just isn't doing it often enough.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
do you think Smith grunts when he dreams about fighting?
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Dawson vs. B-Hop has stinker written all over it.

It's annoying, i've got the sound muted.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Cintron looks like he's mentally wilting a bit.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Kermit needs to keep the fight in the center of the ring and quit backing up to the ropes, better job of that in round 7.
-
What happened to the crazy power cintron had ?

Trying to get Cintron to understand where the fight should be is infuriating. He just is willing to stay in close when he shouldn't spend more than 1 minute of each round in close.
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
Cintron clearly won rounds 1, 2, and 8 in my book. The other rounds were all competitive and I could argue for either guy.
Mares and Agbeko. 2 fighters who will come to fight!!!!
-
Re: ESPN FNF Kermit Cintron-Antwone Smith
This fight is REALLY close!
I have it 5-4 Cintron and I could be waaaay wrong.
-
I wanna see the judges pull a uni decision for smith and see cintron freak out and do something crazy

I haven't scored this, but I don't see how Cintron could be behind. Based strictly on volume. Neither guy has looked hurt at all.
