Smells like it'll happen. I gotta go with Floyd in a big way unless father time or the thought of doing time gets to him first.
Canelo is talent, but he's still green and a sucker for straight shots off the jab.

The question is, do you see Canelo improving from where he's at? I think he's fought in a certain way for long enough it's been imprinted.

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Howard Davis only had moderate success as a pro at the championship level.
Beer of the night for me, St Pauli Girl. :drinker:

He looks like a guy who could easily become fat on mediocrity, as far as previous opponents yep. Great point. Hard to gauge but he's going from the green turtle pool in the backyard to the Pacific ocean in Floyd ;D

Seems like Canelo vs Floyd would have to happen at 154, I believe Floyd schools him, but it would be a fun fight.

Cute Corona girls..
Davis doesn't have much pop, that sometimes leads to stinkers.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Slow mos like this one bring out the 'who does he look like mode'....Davis has some Ishe smith in the face...Lopez has the danny jacobs ears
thank you thank you, I'll be here all year :p

The lack of output and augmented grapple technique also leads to stinkers. ;)

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Hopefully we'll get some better fights from Showtime after this.

It wouldn't be much of an upset, these guys are evenly matched.

I feel like going bowling
John ruiz is watching this on the edge of his seat

Raymundo Beltran vs Luis Ramos Jr. in the main on ShoBox, this one is fucking boring.

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Povitkin ready for a Klitschko?
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Both have stepped up pace a bit but I dunno...its just not meshing well. They can't all be eye candy but I've started counting the hours until Saints stomp Lions into dust
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
I have 9-9 for every round so far
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
That has to be the dumbest Corona commercial.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
You know it has to be boring when Teddy & Joe start discussing the Bama - LSU NCG in the middle of the fight.:-\

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Ref stll gets points for being a dead ringer to one Count Chocula

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
I need some caffeine, is there any way we can give them both a loss?
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
What the hell was Chavez Jr wearing. :p
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Mark Johnson in hall! Nice. He was as quick an any Roy or Whitaker of foot and hand at his best.
Floyd looks huge in that clip

Figueroa has a baby face. :baby:

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Note to ring announcer: This is a RING, not a "cage" :p get it right Showtime.

[QUOTE=Diane;1042461 Figueroa has a baby face. :baby:[/QUOTE]
That's what I was thinking, he's a tough kid though. This fight is already better then the entire Davis fight.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
I see Larry Holmes at ringside.
This is a brutal fight, these guys are banging each other.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
anyone have a stream, I don't get this fight until midnight

Check your pm's. ;D

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
I'll be at that Rico Ramos vs Guillermo Rigondeaux fight. I'm going to be in Vegas for my B-day that weekend, so I decided to check it out.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Ramos has that Azteca warrior look going on.
For a guy with a disability, Freddy Roach stays busy, he seems to live, eat and breath boxing.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Beltran looks to be the bigger stronger guy.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Sounds odd, but love watching these two think and position in this particular fight. Mars I think your right, he is just not buying Ramos offense so far though Ramos is sharper
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Hmm my stream is looping.
-
Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
This is impressive. Ramos has 3,4 checks by Dr, cut and bleeding and does nothing but step to Beltran off sharp counters and presses combos. He is a pretty sharp young southpaw fo sho.

Looks like it's sorted out now.

Re: ESPN's FNF back Friday - Jan. 6th
Closer round the 8th. Ramos shooting shots but his inner hooker gets the better of him...trades to much and is gritty inside and gives up speed. Beltran is like steel wool. Good good fight
