Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
The one thing that bothers me is it seems there are 2 different groups of writers for this show.
When talking about warp speed, cosmos, their intellect is top flight. Yet every time they encounter a species- they all dress like 1800s earthlings, that's some lazy ass writing there. No creativity whatsoever!:lickish:
I least like The Q dude. Not sure why he became so popular they made him a reoccurring star. He sees earthlings as the lowest form in the universe yet can't stop visiting them.
He wears outfits from the $20 walmart men's section. not even the $30 section LOL!

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
The character Q was fascinated with humanity and was at the start and end of Generations series. He pretended he hated our life form but protected it when it was needed.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
While I liked their encounter with the Borg- the way they are constructed as a collective whole, that was pretty cool. But Why in the world or universe did the writers make their vessel look like a square flying garbage cargo.
I laughed when they showed it gaining speed on the enterprise. A square spaceship, really?

Counselor Troi, that beautiful face with that rounds ass made a perfect combination.

Well, there is no friction in space is there? So a square spaceship would be just as aerodynamic as any other shape.
Arguably, the Borg would have made their spaceships spherical as that shape has the lowest surface area compared to volume. Still, they probably know best, you can't argue with five Wimbledons.

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
Youtube has a good collection of the STNG cast reunions and open questions, they comes across as a close cast and they did learn to have a lot of fun.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
Disney with at least 7 spin offs or Mandalorian related series in the works right now. That is just nuts.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
I wonder how long the horse can be flogged before or does, maybe until the very last ounce of blood has been removed from it?
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
If it stays as good as Mandalorian then it should carry on. The final episode was a classic.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
I give credit to the original writers had the hand held communicator decades before the hand held wireless phone, yet the 90s writers (though i prefer next generation) couldnt figure out that video could be used?
Every time they beam down to a planet they got to describe shit back to the bridge, what for? They knew about beta and vhs, why not smoke a joint and get creative...damn.

Yeah, and so many episodes where they show her with the ill camel toe! Not for kids!
Yet I got to say Tasha...as fine as Deeana is...no wonder she was a bitch. Sultry voice, but always some Betazoid Bitch type shit coming out her mouth. I know what you're thinking...yeah...I wanna get a piece. and then step on, no time to hear that snootiness. Damn how serene her voice is when she speaks!
https://youtu.be/K0FVMHJReKk
https://youtu.be/og0Or1i9riY
https://youtu.be/dqwYUumrXm0
And Data's creator was a freak to program to do (MULTIPLE) TECHNIQUES. This aint no damn show for kids! Trekkies got beat their meat too.
I also like the episode where they beam down to that orgy planet.

https://www.thewrap.com/all-39-star-...wesley-photos/
Anyonne have a fav or least fav list? I was kinda suprised to see the kid wonder Wesly crusher making the most hated list as in the link above.
another surprise was that Tasha Yar ranked as loathable (in some Trekkie) circles.
https://www.ign.com/articles/2009/05...rek-characters
Some lists placed Picard #1 loved, others state Capt Kirk.
I am pleased to see I am not alone in disliking the character Q- or as stated; Q was like a hemorrhoid with arms and legs.
My top Star Trek Characters are from the original cast and the Enterprise, haven't seen enough of the other series.
1. Captain Kirk (he's the Ali of Star Trek!)
2. Data -His character was how I started watching the series (a decade late) I liked the episode where Tasha Yar gets some android dingaling. Data told her he had several techniques he could put on her!
3. Picard. Just a cool old dude. Can't really get into the Piccard series. Becoming a Borg was a pretty cool episode.
4. Geordi Laforge. Dude said he was the only man who couldn't even score on a holideck!
5. Dr. Spock. No particular episode, he was always cool from an emotional disconnect standpoint.
If I had to place character I didnt care for, Q is at the top or bottom.
He looks like humans, but detests them, all of his ways, his emotions are spot on-human, he's a master hypocrite. And the episode where he loses his powers.
Data consoled him and offered the counselors go to for depression: chocolate.
Here this guys knows about human culture dating back to the 1600s ( thousand years ago?)...yet he never heard of chocolate, give me a break.
And I just noticed they recycle some characters the chick that slept with Worf- also played several roles, I can tell by her long/slim face.
I'm on the fence with Worf. seems like everytime he talked of his warrior upbringing (not sure how, since he was a child raised by russian humans) yet he took more ass whoopings than he gave out. Hard to take him as a serious warrior- especially the episode where he wanted to commit suicide, talk about a conflicted script writer for this dude.
Some entity took over Couneslor Troi's body and threw Worf into a wall, by the flick of her wrist. Worf is a cool character, but again- they gave him too many beatdowns for me to think he was anything of a fighter.
Some old dude whooped him- again because an alien took over the body and another episode where Wesly Crusher fell for an alien posing as a female and her grandmother/guardian also whooped Worf. Dude got beat down by an elderly man, elderly woman and Troi...because their bodies were possessed.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
and got his ass whooped in an elevator by data's evil twin brother.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
You bring back good memories for me. I did like Captain Kirk but after watching again he got the alien women and was unbeatable which was too much. In reality his dick should have fallen off.
Picard and next generation was my favourite. Diana Troi was the one to watch. Loved Q, Worf, and Data as characters and storyline.
Voyager turned out to be my favourite series and Captain Jainway was a strong character. Seven of Nine was hot.
Never got into the other spin offs.

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
Could never get into Star Trek. Started with wrath of khan and thought it was shite.
That one where they went back in time with the whales was ok mind.
The mandolorian was the best thing since ROTJ. Fact. I had low expectations and as Master said the final episode blew me away. I felt like my 11 year old self again watching ROTJ for the first time I was that giddy.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
The reboot Chris Pine Star Trek movie with Khan played by Benedict Cumberbatch is the best of their 3 movies.

I always thought Kes from Star Trek Voyager was someone I would enjoy corrupting.
https://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfo...tid=5839&stc=1
Apparently she is actually an alcoholic nutcase in real life though, and now looks totally ravaged.
I suppose I could just tie her up and put a gimp mask on her and use my imagination. That’s the problem with kids today, no imagination. In my day, a length of rope and a bondage mask was all you needed for hours of fun.

Same here!! It was Eddie Murphy's standup that allowed me to watch a few episodes. As @Master talked of how did Kirk's [D] survived? Eddie stated SPock beamed down to a planet and boned a green chick. Not being racist -but if the bitch is green, something has to be wrong with the pussy!;D
Bummer that since I got into Next Generation & to see how old Picard really is now, I might've been a trekkie during his tenure.
side note- a month or so ago I watched a docu- i think it was called chaos on star trek? Kirk interviewed Picard- they spoke of actual cast members who didnt like each other, all the messed up stuff that they dealt with to make the series what it was.

found a piece of it.

Anyone like/dislike Star Trek Beyond, the movie?
Which movies are better? I thought it was a decent movie, because I didnt have a history to judge the characters on.

Reading your posts, I always come to the conclusion that in real life you are Danny Devito.

The Chris Pine Star Trek are good movies the second one Into Darkness is best, the first is good but Beyond was OK but the worst of the three.

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
I remember Picard becoming a Borg but do not remember Shelby at all. Notice Ryker shagged all the hot women on the ship.
-
Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
Yeah he was the ship's vagina magnet
https://youtu.be/lNaqxREbzy4
Remember the episode where he's in a hospital on a planet where they learn he's an alien and woman on the planet stated she would help him escape- IF he made love to her?
https://youtu.be/0thtk2If-VI
I like the vid above -all the best of...even Klingon women wanted a piece..licking those chapped ass lips with jagged teeth while staring at Riker LMAO!
Watching this one- yup ya right, but not just on the ship, dude was banging women from all parts of the galaxy!!!

Any chance this one below is for real? or is this the magic of cropping?;D;D

There was an animation series called Gargoyle and many of the Star Trek actors voiced the characters.

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
Has to be said. Never understate the top heavy perkiness of gals on random westerns from the 50's or 60's :-X. Spent a full day healing up watching Grit TV, Big Valley and Laramie and they knew exactly what they were doing O_o.

My fav station is now playing another season I haven't seen. This dude got all the poo-nani!
The episode was a planet of gender-neutral beings...uh Democrats in the future @NoSavingByTheBell bwhahahaaa!
They all looked like a bunchof passive dykes, but I digress!
I couldn't believe they wrote a script for Ryker to say he fell in love with a chick with short hair, no breast no tight n juicy booty ( Master's betazoid dream girl!)
The end- they gave her some dactatonic reversomundo sex deletion of the brain...I dunno, but dude beamed down with Mr, Wolf to get back his alien Ellen Degeneris lookin lover...but they already zapped her...she told dude, I have no desire for you -dude looked crushed!
WOw, the intergalatic player fell in love with a gender neutral who got her brain zapped free of wanting to be a woman. Lord don't let Democrats find that technology.
ok...I found one scene, but not the one where they made her (normal)
https://youtu.be/mMqGlSjAbwA
All that space pussy & he fell for an alien Ellen Degenris? That episode had to have been written by a liberal!!
https://youtu.be/Xc5ExGKzs_M
https://youtu.be/dHGliItC2RA
I kinda lost respect for Ryker the Player. I am sure Dr. Beverly Crusher had to use that medical zapper on him more than once for galactic ghonerrhea.

Re: Star Trek v Star Wars
I remember that episode and thought it was rubbish and unbelievable at the time.
Troy and Crusher went through their share of men as well.
