Yeh me too. Think I just favour haye but not sure why?
probably coz he's a much better fighter
i support both fighters, british heavyweights on the world scene, there havent been too many of those
yes they are both cocks but thats how you make your money and there have been plenty of cocks in boxing
chisora isnt in the same league tho if you ask me
As far as talent I completely agree, but Haye doesn't like to work much and I think Chisora should have the output to make this interesting, assuming he can take Haye's punch. Haye has never been in a real fight at Heavyweight, so if Chisora can walk through his shots and get inside this is a tough one to call imo. I'd be impressed if either man could stop the other in truth, Haye will probably hope to pot shot and keep distance if he can. Bad blood rarely outweighs what gives a fighter his best chance to be effective, I wouldn't be surprised if this weren't what it's billed to be.
Certainly both men have proven capable of falling well short over 12 rounds, that we know for sure.
pretty daft comment really - wlad has proven capability of falling well short over 12 rounds, so does pac and cotto and hatton, you could probably count on one hand the fighters that havent in the whole of history
your other comment - chisora could make it interesting - i hope so but i think its probably the best we can hope for, theres little chance of him winning
Actually Wlad has never lost a 12 round fight, neither has Hatton on paper. Pacquiao and Cotto have certainly never "fallen short" over 12 rounds, only lost close fights after leaving it all in the ring. I was alluding to the fact that Haye and Chisora have both had real stinkers where they didn't do much more than try to survive over the distance within the last couple of years, so it's very possibly this matchup will dissapoint. But of course you didn't get it:D
you said they had fallen short over 12 rounds, i was unable to read your mind soz
and you are right wlad had never lost a 12 rounder, he's been blasted out a few times tho and has been in lots of stinkers
also, anyone who calls anyone a troll is a homosexual. FACT :)

I think there are still tickets available yet. 38,000 is the amount that went on sale. It's all cheap seats thta are left though. Probably won't be seeing much and for £50 i'd rather watch this at home. Still a bit shocked that they've got a Millwall lad fighting at Upton Park.

Sorry to say but this sounds a bit like wishful thinking.
I will come back to this thread after Haye pummels Chisora to observe everyone eating their crow.
 wishful thinking? You do know that I don't expect Chisora to win or care if he does right?... :vd:
I can tell you from personal experience that you can't and should never think your opponent is going to show up on nothing but their best.
Mind games, fights in camp, weighing in heavy, missing phone conferances... Shit, wishful thinking? You've never watched the build up to a fight and read between the lines to see what intent is behind a guy's actions?
If you're getting an impression from a guy, it's usually the one he wants. Haye eon't take the bait.
It's going to be Haye by KO, I'll come back to this thread to say I told you so on Sunday.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Are you fucking high or something?! Are you some sort of Moron?
How can you say 'I told you so' if I've already said I think Chisora will lose?
This is why you should have a passed middle school before being allowed online.

I didn't know this was a 10 round fight...I'm backing Haye even more to win on points now, it would have been a closer fight if it was 12 rounds but I think Haye will win a UD. He will start quicker than Chisora IMO.
-
I'm picking haye by early stoppage or decision. If chisora take hayes big early shots i think haye will pot shot del boy while been on his bike with the odd combination thrown in to make chisora think abit. Haye will need to fight smart and make sure he doesnt punch himself out.
Like him or hate haye he gets people talking about the heavyweight division, without having done alot at heavyweight himself.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Both wankers, but Haye will win via stoppage.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Haye is way too fast for fat boy. Plus power and ring smarts will make it a one sided affair.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I'm still backing Chisora by decision. His workrate and solid chin should see him through this one.
But, Haye is the more talented and powerful fighter and could well score a KO at some point.
Is Chisora's weight pretty high at 247 ? How much did he weigh when he fought Vitali ? I wanna say high 230's ?

It was in the 30's against Vitali but im betting its done on purpose and watching Haye at the final presser and weighin Haye doesnt act very confident. Its more forced than usual. I think he felt comfortable in front of Klitschko because if he lost he lost to the best in the division, I think he realises hes pretty much found out when he loses here.

i dont really agree, i think it could be a knockout at any time
haye will either blast him out or if he takes his punches early chisora will have nothing left by 7 or 8

Yes about boxrec. It's 10 rounds, you been in a coma for the last couple of days?

I meant to the OP of the thread and all the deluded Hayeters. I don't care who you think will win and I only briefly read your posts.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
10 rounds suits Haye. Chisora was relying on turning it round in the last two rounds but now the finish line will be reached sooner for Haye.
I dont see either getting knocked out. Chisora cant punch but can take a good shot. He will follow the fatser man round the ring all night getting countered. Last 3 could be interesting but not enough to mzke it close on the cards.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
You don't care who people think will win... But you're looking forward to returning to a thread on the internet just to gloat and say I told you so if people are wrong?! Right.
Can you see why saying 'I don't care' might be a little bit unconvincing? ??? :vd:
Talking to the OP?! You quoted me, twice... If you were talking to the OP then QUOTE THE OP?... Or better yet don't make a bullshit excuse.
So in summary:
1) don't tell everybody you're going to gloat if they are wrong, and the contradict yourself by saying you don't care what others think. (why would you need to gloat then?)
2) don't quote somebody and talk to somebody else? ??? (better yet, don't be stupid enough to think anybody believes such a poor excuse)
3) don't quote and respond to me after (in your own words) 'briefly reading my post'... Then you may not look as foolish as you have.

Pretty much how I see it. Haye could knoch Chisora out but I think it's more likely he'll box off the back foot and pit shot.
For all the talk of massacring this guy and that guy - its how he fights at heavy. Uf he was the aggressor I'd see a KO, but off the back foot ai think chisora takes hayes shots well. I see Chisora chasing his man all night and getting out pointed.
I doubt he can wear Haye down over 10 rounds. There's a reason he's came in so light.
-
Looking at boxrec and the card isn't on it, how come that's happened ?

HSBC have recently announced their lowest 5 year fixed rate mortgage, although it does come with a catch!

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
If I was a betting man I would have a few quid on Haye to stop Del-boy around the 7/8th rds. Hang on, I am a betting man, ........well thats that sorted then

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
p.s. thats a solid bet
if i knew a betting man those are the rounds i would suggest
id say put money on 2, 7 and 8
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
I think Chisora's only chance is a late stoppage and now it's only ten rounds I just can't see him winning. I'd actually like to see the fucker win but I can't see anything other than a Haye win.

Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Although I think there is a real chance of Chisora stopping Haye late, the most likely outcome is a decision win for Haye.
-
Just found out that Micky Van was.gonna Ref this but Haye said no... Van is doing an undercard fight I think.. Or judging it. Wonder why Haye didn't want him... He a top ref who won't stand for any bollocks from fighters., would have thought he would be tailor made for this one.

I heard they said he was too small to referee heavyweights, but he has said he did the Lewis v Bruno fight.

Yeah the Haye camp protested to Mickey Vann and brought in a Puerto Rican ref that doesnt allow holding. He is as bad as Joe Cortez. Anytime Chisora gets close he will break the action. This and the 10 round distance both suit Haye to the ground. All he has to do is keep running and its in the bag
-
Cool then.... Chisora should steam into him.from the off and throw everything with full power. Basically fight his ass off and put I right on Haye. Agree this is so in Hayes favour its amazing Warren allowed it to happen. Wonder if the draw/rematch is at the back of certain peoples.minds. Hmmmmm
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
The 30-40,000 tickets and shitloads of Boxnation subscriptions Haye has sold was at the front of Warren's mind ;)
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
sorry for interrupting the thread, im travelling to upton park after work Im catching the train it's going to take about hour and half what time do you reckon they'll be stopping letting people in?
-
Re: Haye v Chisora... I'm picking Del Boy to stop Haye late.
Haye hand speed and power will drive Chisora into a shell for 12 rounds.
