Yeah I agree, Lennox was poor that night. It made for a better spectacle than it otherwise might have though.

100% agree and even the scorecards back up that fact, Bruno was up on 1 and the other 2 were even. Lewis was dreadful that night.
I think Bruno was an entertaining fighter with all of England behind him, but no way he beats Wladimir

True, but Wlad's method against Haye was different altogether from Chisora's.
Another thing is Haye's beating of Chisora does not mean that Wlad could do the same.
They are different fighters with different attributes.
Haye surprised me with his good performance against Chisora, and in fact against Wlad as well.
Haye is a very good fighter.
I still think that by the time Chisora fought Vitali, he would have posed a tougher test to Wlad, and to a lesser degree even now.
Arreola is well past his prime by now, but a few years ago he could have been a threat to Wladimir.
The same holds for Chisora, whose prime came about one or two years later but also passed in my opinion.
Wars against Fury, Helenius, Vitali, Haye and to a lesser degree Sexton (twice) had surely taken their toll on Chisora.
Fighters like Chisora, Arreola and Sam Peter have a style that is just not made to last for long.

Who voted #51 - #100? Hahahaha...
Re: Where do you rate Wladimir Klitschko among all-time heavyweights?
Probably just outside the top 10 or just inside it, but i wouldn't favour him in a head to head match up with any of the great Heavyweights, i think even guys who were nearly men like Ruddock, Witherspoon, Tucker, would beat him, but that's all speculation.

Larry Holmes would decapıtate both Ks ın the same nıght.

Larry Holmes wouldn't do shit. Wlad has fought better opponents than Larry has. If friggin Renaldo Snipes could put Larry on his ass then I'm betting a few of the guys Wlad has fought could do the same.

Holmes was so fast and the K boys so slow. Yes Holmes was down but the poınt ıs he got up and WON THE ROUND! Who can take an Earnıe Shavers shot on the button wıth full wındup and get up at a 6 count and wın the frıkkın round? Only Larry could do that.

Re: Where do you rate Wladimir Klitschko among all-time heavyweights?
Earnie Shavers 47% KOratio
Additionally Earnie Shavers never won a world championship
Additionally Earnie Shavers’ average KOwin are men under median 200 lbs.
Additionally Earnie Shavers fought dirty. Just watch the Shavers vs Joe Bugner fight: low blows, headbutts, head holding and then uppercutting.
Additionally Earnie Shavers was KOed 7 times.
Yes, Shavers was a cruiser power puncher, but a superheavyweight wrecvking ball? Nahhh....
Shavers’ power is GROSSLY overrated by boxing fans.
Earnie Shavers is considered THE power puncher. In discussions about KO performances of boxers Earnie Shavers is ALWAYS ranked at the top of near the top. He has been called the “puncher of the century” and being “among the most destructive punchers of all time”.
So it’s time to take a closer look and separate fact from fiction.
In fact Earnie Shavers has hardly wins against good opponents.
His best KOs are Jimmy Ellis 199 lbs for which he could have been DQed (for holding Ellis’ head with the left and then uppercutting) and Joe Bugner which ended on a cut.
Earnie Shavers was never a world champ himself, nor has he won against any world champ (except aforementioned Jimmy Ellis).
In other words: Once you ignore funny quotes and legends it turns out that Shavers was considered a dangerous KOer based on KOing mainly cruisers and nobodies.
He KOed only 10 guys (median weight 201 lbs) of which 8 guys were bums with records like 0-1, 196 lbs, and 15-7, 190 lbs etc lol Only 2 were somewhat half good:Howard Smith (17-2, 202 lbs) and Tony Perea (16-1, 206 lbs).
THAT’s Shavers’ KO record in a nutshell. For a guy with 90+ wins this is disappointing. Additionally Shavers was only dangerous in the first rounds .
How many fights did Shavers have that went 7+ rounds? 17 (seventeen).
How many of these 17 fights did he manage to win by KO? 3 (three). That’s really bad. It hints at stamina problems or accuracy problems.
Part of the Earnie Shavers Mythology is his streak: He KOed 28 opponents in a row.
Again, if you analyze these opponents they are all bums (like Willie Johnson 19-30) or had been massively KOed before (like Bill Hardney 13 times) or had come off a loss (or had a loss within last months) (like Pat Duncan).
Once you analyze how many non-bums he could KO in a row his figures shrink dramatically.
