Fury can work on his personality. :)

Why? Haye got a fight with Wlad by being a cock;D
So hes 24 then?;D
A year ago I would have agreed, but 2012 has not been Fury's year. At least Price is fighting, and Skelton is a name who has won five on the bounce.
Yes, Fury has face better opposition, but has looked far from convincing when stepping up in class. Watching him fight Chisora I was under the impression Del Boy threw away the fight rather than Fury winning it.
Fury's fans claim he is improving. I don't know how you can say that when the quality of his opposition has declined in his last four fights.
Well, put it this way, Tyson beat Rogan with ease this year, by pissing around and trying out southpaw. Then Madalone who has been in with world class opponents Meanwhile, Price has fought Sexton, Harrison and next up Skelton. Fighters that Furys opponents have already beaten.;D
You either have a hatred of Price, or a love of Fury, but either way it couds your judgement.
Rogan lost twice to Sexton. Why didn't Fury chase Sexton then? Rogan was 40 years old coming off an 18 month layoff and without a significant win in years. Let's not pretend he was a credible opponent
You defend Madalone as having been in with world class opponents and then slate Harrison and Skelton, who have both been in the ring with better opponents than Madalone.
Ignoring Price for a moment Ross, do you think Fury's career is progressing well in 2012? Who is next for him? A top fifty fighter maybe?
Fury is fighting who is available to him and who will actually sign to fight him. He is now big risk low reward. Eddie Chambers has turned down a date in December. Regarding Sexton, Fury beat the undefeated Chisora.
Furys momentum has slowed but he is still well ahead of Price who is learning nothing from these British journeymen. How much shit would Fury get if he was signed up to fight Skelton?
I like the way Fury is doing things. Hes going in with unbeaten fighters and not just British level journeymen. He does have a suspect chin but hes proven his toughness and has learnt how to cope. Price hasnt. There are bigger questions over Prices chin. Hes been over a number of times in the amateurs with headgear on and Fury was one of the fighters who put him down. Hes yet to fight anyone who will put him in any danger and I dont think thats a coincidence. Maloney is steering him as carefully as he can to a title shot and will not take a Fury fight as it would turn his fiter in to a laughing stock if Fury were to stop him.
It looks like Tyson Fury will be fighting Tony Grano on Dec 1.
Grano is WBC#5 and Fury is WBC #4.
Тайсон Фьюри встретится с Тони Грано?
Tyson's fury wil be tamed if he steps in against pricey! Price is a future star in the making.
I can see why hes being touted as an amazing talent. His rise is just phenomenally amazing! I mean, how many other heavy weights could beat such a fantastic line up of McDermott, Sexton, Harrison and next up a real stern test against 50 year old Skelton.
Its just unbelievable...
;D
Calm down dear and wipe your eyes, im taking the piss.
I do honestly think Fury will go further than Price. There is a reason Tysons team are willing to chance him against better opposition that Prices team are.
Fury is 24 and still getting better. Unless Price is another Froch (not a chance! Froch did t turn pro with a reputation of being delicate) hes leaving it very late to test himself.
How is he leaving it very late? He's a heavyweight who'll have his best years deep into his thirties. Audley turned pro at around the same age didnt he? He's had several chances to test himself even whilst fucking it up several times. His failure was nothing to do with his age.
Well I actually think that Harrison is a step up from Sexton as he had the chance to KO Price with his power, height and southpaw style but now Price is regressing again against Skelton! You could even argue that Harrison would lose to Sexton as Sexton beat Rogan, who beat Harrison so hes already regressing in some peoples eyes. Ill give him some credit when he earns it. Other than Fury, Chisora or Haye, there are no British heavies he should be fighting from now on if he wants to improve. Maloney knowing the state of the division will milk every last British opponent he can before any step up for Price. I wouldnt be surprised if he goes for Rogan after Skelton with Maloney using the excuse that he wants to prove Price can get a better result.
Maloney needs to do what Furys team have done with him. Get him some undefeated, foreign opponents.
Im sure you'd be singing Prices praises if he got dropped and hurt by an import before knocking him out ;D
I dont see why you put so much stock in knocking over foreign imports. Unbeaten, high KO percentage. Its match making straight out of the Frank Warren playbook.
Furys short comings are there for all to see because of the better quality of opposition. I saw Sexton back up Price and even buckle his knees moments before he got flattened.
What im saying is if Price got dropped, could he get back up and come back to stop the opponent? We dont know and we wont against Skelton.
Iv just said on the Holyfield thread but if Holyfield is intent on fighting on and wants a high ranking then fight Fury next. I think Holyfield still has what it takes to beat Madalone, Skelton and Harrison so its not like hes a step back for either. Fuck him. Let him get beaten up by a gobby gypsy or a pale scouser, thats karma for using steroids;D
Sorry fella I dont see it

Ok when I look at it now, it doesnt look as bad but when watching it originally I thought that Price had taken a good shot. Go to 13.36 in to the video.
Also, if you look at the other knockdown in round 4 Sexton comes back and has Price looking like a lumbering fool for a moment and then Price holds:confused:
Piss off you sulky cunt
Go to 12.36 to see lumbering fool;D
Hes not the most gracefull defensive artist then is he;D
Yes but again, if a British level journey man with a handfull of losses and a less than granite chin can put him under any kind of pressure then I dont see why the excitement.
Would a Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier, George Foreman or Lennox Lewis with the same amount of fights have been taken to the 4th? Or had that lumbering fool moment?
No. Sexton wouldnt have got out of the first with any of them.
This is my point. Its either we are starved of an exciting heavy or British heavies and will just wet our pants at the site of one British fighter, beating some other terrible British fighters to try and fool ourselves that a new dawn is upon us;D
Price is not being challenged with his match making like Fury has and is just not progressing. Ok he beat British journeyman McDermott, is Sexton a step up? Is Harrison a step up from Sexton? Is Skelton a step up from Harrison? No, they are all as shit as each other.
Who in this thread has said Price is a great fighter ? i pretty much think we are saying he would Ko Fury inside a few rounds ?
so what has him fighting Sexton , or Harrison got to do with it ?
also what has Sexton getting KOED by Tyson of Foreman got to do with it ?
Price KOS Fury inside 2 rounds.
THE END.
I was just going to stop posting in this particular thread as iv said what I think and cant be arsed to go over and over again for the sake of it.
You think Price beats Fury. I think Price is no where near ready to face any world ranked opponents. Fighting Skelton wont change that and thats that.;D;)
If Price fights and retains the Lonsdale belt by defending the British title he will already have done more than Fury. It is not a stick to beat him with, it is a badge of honour, the most beautiful and meaningful belt that a British man can hold. Fury dismissed it as though it were trash and then expects the British public to follow him? He thanks Jesus and then talks of handing Price's "sole" to the devil? The man is deluded.
