Are you for real Mr. Dickens? May I call you Charles?
Look this is my last response to you and this ridiculous pursuit. When I used the term I suppose I did mean as a fan that I may exaggerate his career, adorn it, overstate it, magnify it but not modify, change or alter.
Maybe in some other thread you will get the opportunity to discuss circular definition.
I also put in that post that it seemed you were out to pick some kind of key board scrap and you have so far proved that. If you think I misused a term and are that offended by it then maybe you should seek out some counseling. You have now been obsessed for three days. Run along; take the dog for a walk, finish reading your copy of the antagonist manifesto, whatever. Seriously move along as its just not that important. If you want to walk away thinking you have won some kind of word debate then so be it. I am guilty of literal sin. Now calm down and have a good life.
I dont find it offensive. I find it funny because of all the drivell you spout. I dont think you meant to put it there at all. I reckon you meant to put something like "cherrish" as what sense does "embelish" make to your point?
As for Dickens... Your the one writing mind numbing novels and essays in here;D
Your guilty of more than literal sin, more like verbal diarrhea;D
