Broner has that combination of talent, confidence and smarts that is hard to beat.
I don't see a good outcome for Rees, hopefully he gets KOed early instead of taking a ton of head shots.

I like gavin hes a good little fighter but unfortunaetly hes fighting a future superstar. 4-6 reese gets stopped. Good luck though broner is only a man at the end of the day.
Broner has a great future if he can stay composed.
I think we will all enjoy his rise to the top if his opponents keep improving.
I can see it going longer than, but I see Rees taking a beating the whole way
It will only be Rees' courage & toughness that drags it out
No offence to anyone, I hate Broner's attitude also (especially after the Escobedo crap) but I see him completely dominating
This is going to be one way traffic...think the Autobahn. Somewhere along the 5th,6th I fully expect Jim Lampley to have a complete and utter hysterical stroke as he wets himself praising Broners 'Complete professional dominance over a tough as nails and game challenger' :cheerleader:
Its a showcase. Nothing more.
This is just an easy showcase fight for Broner..
But I hope Rees breaks Broner's face...
Who saw Ringside? Didn't think Locketts idea of changing Rees normal approach was a good idea? I thought his rat-a-tat pressure is exactly what could make it interesting for a few rounds.
Both make weight, Broner was a pound under and Rees was half a pound under
I saw Ringside, I'm wondering if I watch enough episodes whether I get a free T-Shirt or something. I also thought whilst watching that it is a shame Enzo was not still Gavin's coach just to laugh at the spectacle of the American press trying to decipher Enzo and Gavin's accents at the same time.
"you'll be lower than me when I knock you out on Saturday"
"that's right but why are you saying that for, surprise em Gavin,..its a me Enzo ,..."

Over recent fights it seems like Rees has started quickly and then started to run out of steam in the middle rounds before coming on strong in the last three. I can't see him not sticking around there into the later rounds, and giving Broner a good sparring session if nothing more.
Off topic but how tall is Rees? Boxrec lists him at 5'7 but I could've sworn I've see him listed at 5'3 or 5'4 in the past.

Have to admit even as a Broner fan that a part of me hopes Gavin busts him up. 33 to 1 lol.
Despite coming in at the same weight, come fight night they are going to look like they belong in different weight divisions.
I can't stand Broner and hope he gets beat, but the reality is that Rees is not going to be the guy to do it.
Was going to put a few quid on broner in the early rounds maybe 3 or 4 as much as a like Rees a just think he's out his depth here hope am wrong.what are u guys thinking? Any1 betting on this 1?
How this fight goes is on all Broner. If he opens up he gets Rees out of there early. If he wants rounds than he'll carry him for a couple. Either way it's his choice. Rees only shot of winning is for Broner to do something stupid and get DQ. Cuz he doesn't have the power to KO if he lands flush. So DQ is his only chance. The odds are 33-1 for a reason
I don't see anything that Rees can do that will trouble little Boner, I respect how Brit's get behind their fighters, but Rees is going to get wrecked, I hope i'm wrong but that's just the way I see it.
If Rees had power, he would have seriously troubled Broner. He was connecting, just not hurting.
Broner gets tagged easily and when up against someone with a chin, power and output, he is going to be in trouble. He is in a weak division right now, but when he steps up and faces decent opposition he will have issues. Broner is all hype like Canelo and I struggle to see what is impressing people. He reminds me so much of Andre Berto.
Well, no grumbles about that fight really, Broner looked good getting the KO. However, I thought Broner had a few bad habits to iron out, especially the ref allowing him to hold his lead hand in Rees' face and pushing, rather than actually punching with it. A stronger and more dangerous fighter would have got past that and made him pay. Also, he gets tagged a fair bit too.
Rees did very well for himself all things considered. He landed well with left hooks to both head and body and the mocking Broner and waving him in and winning the crowd a bit was a bonus. He opened eyes to some serious holes in Broner who better close his stance if he keeps catching punches like that or he'll spend alot of time on his heels in the near future.
Could have done without Kellerman T bagging Broner in interview and the two blowing smoke over slow motion replays..."Whats his name again, I forget"...classless.
Broner looked so much bigger than Rees in there. Couple that with his hand speed and obvious natural skills.... and you gotta give all the credit in the world to Rees for making the fight as entertaining as it was while it lasted. Total class by Rees.... total classlessness by Broner, who will undoubtedly bring more fans to his fights, but mostly to hope to see him get his disrespectful ass kicked in.
Rees was bending over too much in front of Broner, which Broner took full advantage of with punches to both sides of his body, head and midsection.
Rees won the first two rounds, and I really enjoyed seeing Broner take some good punches to the head and body.
Was relieved to see the Rees corner waving that towel.
Gavin Rees, a tough dude, I like him.
Looks are deceiving. Broner was no doubt surprised by Gavins hand speed. Shit I was. Gavins stature as crazy as it sounds allowed him to have that early success. Had he been as tall and big as Broner I'm not sure he would have had that success early.
Having said that if Broner has one weakness imo its his wide stance. He takes away his own ability to go to either side and Gavin also had success showing that a little. A guy like Gamboa who is just as fast and uses weird angles may cause him grief but dam Broners mule kick punches are a game change. I hope Burns is successful and they get together before Broner exits to 140.
i thought rees would be in the fight until at least midway until i saw them both stood next to each other
rees is small for a lightweight but even the bigger fighters he has fought he never looked too small, and even at light welter
broner looked twice the size, how does he get down to lightweight, or superfeather for that matter
This was first I had seen of Broner and for first time in a long time I saw a new fighter who was great for boxing - and one whose career I am looking forward to following. Cocky, sideshow, exhibitionist and has the skills to back it up (a mix of PBF, Naz, Mayorga, Paez etc...)
As I've said before over here in UK we don't now see much on TV of the big names from overseas (unless they are called Floyd or Manny \ or are fighting a Brit) so this was good it was shown on general Sky Sports as a freebie - though you have to subscribe to Sky Sports of course :-\
But I agree with many of you that the first time Broner comes up against someone with a bit of pop and skill he will be levelled in hilarious fashion. And that just adds to his appeal for me.
Looking forward to it Mr Broner
