I do not have sky but my sister does and I use her account to set up my computer as 1 device and wanted to set up the tv as the second but they do not allow it. I would never pay for sky. :)

This Smart TV , sound to smart for you bud why did you get a not so smart tv.;D
I am going to go all 21st century and go wireless. I may need a get a smart phone and tablet, any suggestions appreciated. As I have a Samsung TV would it be easier to get Samsung phone and tablet, they seem to be an affordable option?
Samsung all the way mate, well Android (the operating software on the device). I had an iPhone 4 and also bought the iPad 3 about 6 months ago. Switched to the Galaxy S3 when my contract was up and sold the iPad 3 on eBay to buy the Asus Nexus 7. So glad I switched and I'll never go back....
Apple are fuckers if you like to erm, ahem, download free shit. With an Android device (Samsung, Nexus etc) you can download apps to rip any song you want for free instantly. You can also download apps such as Utorrent if you're into downloading albums, TV shows and movies etc (for free)... Plus an Android device plays avi file and mkiv files out the box so no fucking around converting or paying for apps that'll play em..
Apple won't allow any of that shit as they'd prefer you to pay for it in iTunes. IMO people who choose Apple over Android have never used Android
Get either the Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3 as a Smartphone - depending on budget. And I'd go for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as a decent cheap entry level tablet. Both will allow Flash Player and have expandable memory - unlike any of the Apple devices
@Conrad it looks like apple have you buy the balls if you buy there products.
Samsung looks good but there are other tablets out there too google nexus, microsoft 8 what about them?
My next laptop is going to be a tablet laptop, I'm just waiting for the price to come down a bit. £1000 at the min for a shit spec one.
ASUS Transformer Pad can do both, it looks good.
Asus TF300T-1K163A ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T - Tablet - Android 4.0 - 32 GB - 10.1" IPS ( 1280 x 800 ) - rear camera...
Finally watched a proper 3d programme on the TV which was Murray at Wimbledon. It looked amazing. I do not use the internet much on it as the mouse is fiddly.
I've done some techy upgrading actually.
Swapped iPhone 4S for Galaxy S4. Best move I ever made. Does same shit as iPhone, but bigger screen and does even more cool things, especially completely free music. Wish I did it ages ago to be honest. Android is far better and over the next few years will overtake iOS as Apple slides.
Also got a touch screen laptop, does exactly what I wanted and has made my life in work better.
hahahaha been saying this for ages and last time I checked Samsung have already taken over apple ;)
they just have a limited market now and they are the people who just don't realise how good the samsung phones have now become ;)
Love my note 2 and everytime use my youngest sons iphone it just looks like a cheap limited toy LOL
Remember when BlackBerry were cutting edge. :)
Its true. I went on my mates iPhone 5 and it felt so small a pathetic. Plus the restrictions from Apple are simply too restrictive.
Its all about being king of the top spec phones though, Apple still has that, just. Nokia were top phone maker for years, simply from all the lower end phones they flogged.
The link between all the gadgets now is cool, its what I wanted for years. I'm always sending music and stuff to the surround sound and TV.
