The awkward moment when you just read NHL Insteed of NFL....
Hahaha...... no problem, bro. One letter can make a lot of difference.
BTW, I scored it 10-9 Volpatti.
I know they're on skates, but just once one of them should try letting go of the other guy's jersey momentarily and throw a left hook.
He'll either connect and put the guy down, or miss and go sprawling on the ice.
Anyone watch the pro bowl? Apart from JJ watt looking pleased as pie to have a finger bleeding like an extra rare steak, I would be kind of amused to see his prediction of a 3-0 final come true!
I watched the first half, and pretty entertaining stuff, although not too serious.
As fanatical as I am about the NFL, I've never watched a Pro Bowl. I just can't bring myself to watch a meaningless game which is basically a Hawaiian vacation for the better players of the league and their families. It's obvious from the score that the defense plays as to not get hurt.
You know, it's almost as if the NFL feels obligated to have an "All-Star" game, since the other major sports do. But it's a lot easier from a logistical standpoint to have a baseball or a basketball all-star game, than it is to gather the football all-stars, especially when some of them aren't even available because they're playing in the Super Bowl. That, plus the other dozen or so that are recovering from injuries and can't afford to reinjure themselves.
Well, look at the stats as two out of seven New England Patriots selected for the game actually show up. Nobody wants the threat of injury in a fun game.
