He could have continued living off his daddy, instead, he decided to take punches for a living and become a pro fighter! How many kids in his position has the balls and desire to think of something like that?
Fuck these Chavez haters.. I think alot of people are forgetting the fact that Chavez Jr has exceeded expectations in this sport..
When he was coming up as a prospect, I remember everybody were saying that he's a knocking waiting to happen as soon as he steps up the comp etc etc but look what he's accomplished.. He's a former world champion with an exciting style and a granite chin.. Never been knocked out by anybody ..
Chavez jr is rad man..
The way GGG is treated vs the way JCC Jr is treated just disgusts me, I can't agree with you on Ortiz but the Chavez hate is ridiculous, I do understand some of it but people pile on Chavez because in boxing people are followers who are scared to break popular thoughts.
Again your GGG hate is shocking. Chavez Jr, goes 46 fights before fighting someone of real note and gets completely out classed, comes to fights overweight, fails drug tests, refuses to take drug tests. This is why he gets criticised so much. He is a decent fighter and can be fun to watch but he's not world class. Does anyone seriously believe if it wasn't for his dad he would be in the position he is in?
GGG has been a model professional and looks like he will be world class.
Wait Chavez isn't world class? You GGG huggers love to dump on Sergio, that was a great win by Sergio and doesn't mean Chavez is a bum. What's your commitment to GGG is it just to say you saw it first? I don't jump on bandwagons and be wrong about 10 guys and claim I knew something cause 1 guy was a success. I've had more reasonable convos at Phil Box about Manny. Hopefully Bob sees money in GGG-Chavez and we get it soon so the GGG hype can die.
Hes not world class. He wont beat the best in the MW division even with a weight advantage and he wont be a genuine SMW champ. He will beat Bika if he does move up but thats a given, like all his fights bar the Sergio fight. I really hope Chavez fights GGG at MW but it aint gonna happen because Chavez cant make the weight. Just watch what Macklin and Murray did to Chavez. Then look what Chavez did. Guys that you call tin cans put up a much better fight against him then Chavez did.

Lol good ole Jose. He knows where his supper hangs.
If Chavez is telling GGG he cant make 160 then he sure a hell wont be attempting it for a meaningless Rubio fight.

Rubio is a better fighter than Macckin
Re: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
If I were fighting Chavez Jr. I would personally sign a contract allowing him to test positive for weed. I would also tell Julio that I will personally pick up the tab for his purchases and have them delivered to his camp. Not a PED, and this is totally BS. And I'm not a Chavez Jr fan, but this was excessive.

They are morons, they say Ishida is this amazing win while dumping on the younger Chavez's.
I agree. I'm a Chavez fan. But I enjoy watching Golovkin. And I do believe he'll live up to the hype. But he hasn't yet. That's not a knock against him. It's a fact. He looked like a wrecking machine destroying Ishida and Mackin. And I was very impressed in the fashion he did it. But it was still only Ishida and Mackin. He was suppose to destroy them. He gets credit for doing what he was suppose to. But that's at it. Fools are going overboard with the e-blow jobs
Re: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Chavez Jr is a spoiled, undisciplined, asshole. Plain and simple.
The guy would not have the following that he has, if it wasn't for his name. Anyone that considers themselves a fan should be pissed at the asshole for not taking his profession seriously. We all seen the pic last week of his fat ass, when he has less than 2 months to go before his next fight.
This fight was pushed back 4 times, was originally a catch weight of 165, now I just read an article with Arum, and he said it has now been moved up to 168. I bet Chavez Jr weighs 30 pounds more than Vera when they step into the ring. That's what he depends on to win his fights, outweighing them, and overpowering them because of that weight difference. A middleweight hitting a cruiserweight isn't going to be able to do shit to hurt him, and he knows that, but a cruiserweight hitting a middleweight is a whole different story.
He just disgusts me.
