What does that even mean? Now all the fights that should happen are called super fights? Triple G deserves a shot at Martinez because he is arguably the best middleweight in the division. He just destroyed a guy that went the distance with 2 world class trinket holders. Martinez himself recognizes that. He's not going to get Ward or Floyd and I cant believe that anybody actually thinks there is a chance in hell for either. He's got a legit claim to a fight with Martinez and a better claim then most that came before him. "Golovkin who" just doesn't cut it anymore. Martinez needs to shit or get off the pot after a warm up.
I predict Martinez will not fight him and will instead go for the winner of Alvarez/Floyd or even the loser because risk/reward dictates it in this market with his remaining shelf life.

GGG fans have no respect, Martinez should laugh in his face and not give him what he wants.
Most of his fans here seem reasonable. Dick wad fans wherever they are have nothing to do with him deserving his due. I'm not a fan of his but he's made his case. Shame English is not his first language but that's not relevant either.
Re: Golovkin doesnt deserve the superfights
I have no idea how we got to the point of like him or loath him , GGG is powerful and exciting I for one want to see him in super fights, as for the posters using words like pactards ? Isn't it time you went to nursery school you fucking idiots.
Re: Golovkin doesnt deserve the superfights
Truth be told, I think Chavez Jr takes GGG by KO
Re: Golovkin doesnt deserve the superfights
Who is Golovkin? Is he good?

As to your comments about me, my signature is my name if your one of those name calling little fellows I'll do my best to avoid you!! I like children but disrespectful ones need to be seen and not heard!
Boxing has always engaged fighters from all over the world and once the topic turns to cultures instead of skills its to late to discuss, it gets to personal then!!!
GG can fight and box and if he stays ast 160 as the Middleweight Champion and accepts all challengers at HIS weight he'll reign a long time!! Its very refreshing to see a young man with credentials and power. Next to the Heavyweight title the Middleweight title was always the most prestigious but today the fans want fighters to jump in and out of weight classes like their playing checkers! GGG is the best 160 pounder today and if Sergio can get healthy enough I'm sure GGG will stop him and if Junior can get to 160 he'll be KO'd. Eventually he'll move to 168 because no one at 160 will fight him.
To bad he won't stay at Middle and venture up to 164 to fight Froch and those guys in 10 round main events! He stays Middleweight Champ and fights out of his weight class. All champs used to do that and it was successfull for all! Once a year you defend against the number one then you fight within your own promotions!! (what Mayweather does hahahaha)
So thats that, good luck and have a nice nite!!! Ray Corso
Being compared to TrainerMonkey is a huge compliment. Trust me.
Fenster.

Try to get a grip on the the "expression" he's a good boy!
A "good boy" is a fighter who comes to fight and gives a solid effort! Its an old "inside boxing " expression and GGG knows some history within the sport and uses boxing expressions!
Thats the real meaning its NOT lil boy or a dirogitary comment its a respectfull one!!!
GGG's management has sent out contracts to all the middleweight contenders, no one seems to be willing to negotiate. I wonder why? Ray.
The training section, the posts of active and past fighters, coaches, scouts and boxing press would beg to differ. There are, have been and will continue to be some very knowledgeable people contributing to the site. Your insights are of course welcomed but don't presumed that NOBODY here knows anything about techniques and methods. You are correct in your assessment of Golovkin being respectful, like yourself, and it is a refreshing change for someone to be able to make a point both inside and outside of the ring without resorting to hyperbole.
Re: Golovkin doesnt deserve the superfights
Having a serious discussion with people who have fictitious names and use pics of actors and athletes in their avitar is abit strange! Obviously the differences between my persona and people with fake signatures is abit wide!!
Fenster I won't trust you, don't know you and you'd rather compare members here then actually talk about boxing methods & techniques which leads me to believe you don't know much, other than what you've read!
greenbeanz; as you know I call it as I see it! I can be wrong and have been wrong judging folks on the net but to doubt my knowledge on the sport tells me some don't know squat! I do know the sport and how to teach it because I've done for many years! Anyone reading my posts should understand my opinions if they know the sport too!!! ......so thats done time to move on! Ray.

I wish some of you guys would read what ive been saying, i dont loathe him, i think hes a great fighter, i just dont see a star. As far as "pactards" its a retarted term in itself, Pacqiou is an amzing fighter and an atg, hes beat the whose who in his weight classes, golvkin cant be compared to him yet, and not for long. Also I think with mayweather and pacqiou winding down were to desperate to stick to our next guy, lets slow it down, Golovkin is great, but again, lets see him fight solid guys, cuz nobody can sit here and say he fought any tough opponents, like ive read somewhere, "he makes canelos resume look befier"

Maybe if i add "doesnt desrerve the superfights ....yet" you guys would calm down a little. lol i love boxing and great fighters as much as the next guy here, but come on guys, every great fihgter has paid his dues before getting the big fights, i just really want to avoid the ortiz, berto scenarios we've been having in boxing lately. I think its important to season them first so that those superfights can 1. carry more weight and be a bigger event and 2. give the newbie a better chance to win. Even Canelo took floyd to early, and i think we got robbed of seeing mayweather challenged because of it.

Jesus, we have the reincarnation of TrainerMonkey.
Blaspheme ;D I don't know if all top trainers could appreciate how a double cheeseburger qualifies as post gym health food because it had lettuce and tomatoes on it like TM could!

Are you upset that Broner was paid one and a half million dollars to face Malignaggi and was paid one million dollars to face Gavin Rees?

Actually not really i can care less how much he gets paid, people want to see him for whatever reason, but to say lets see broner pac or broner mayweather would be a bit silly no?

Ray, you likely do have more boxing knowledge than a lot of people on here. I would listen and love to hear any of your knowledge. And I respect you for this.
I cant however respect your negative attitude and disrespect towards others just because you know more than them. We are not all bad apples.
I know you will probably just get upset if you read this but I hope you can learn to ignore those who are disrespectful and argue points even when they know they are wrong and just focus on those of us who want to continue to learn and can actually benefit from things you know.
Re: Golovkin doesnt deserve the superfights
He keeps knocking everyone in front of him out. Can't really do more than that.

Broner has asked for a fight with both Pacquiao and Marquez to be clear and has said that he wouldn't want to give Floyd his first L so he won't face him.
