I see Carl Thompson has been brought up, it's time for Lolenga Mock. Get this, a supermiddle/lightheavy once put Haye down. LOL, what a chinny clown Haye is, he'll never go on to achieve anything
Who saw Ringside? Great stuff. Even though Fury contradicts everything he says, and is clearly a big dummy, he's great entertainment. Not sure how people can get so annoyed by a character like that.
He's done nothing special at heavyweight.
However, his knockdown against Mock and loss to Thompson, 10 years ago, never prevented him from beating a bunch of world ranked heavyweights. They might be shit but that's irrelevant. Haye's talent allowed him to exploit the division.
Fury has done what at HW ?
he has a weak chin , Hayes chin hasn't failed him at HW , Fury has nothing ,he has a weak punch and a weak chin , those are the facts.
He also is very easy to hit , as I said before it isn't even a contest , world class fighter in Haye , media product in Fury .
So lets just watch it pan out.
the funniest thing is ROSS says how Fury improves with every fight , learns this blah blah blah , then he brings up fights Haye had when he was a novice , double standards ??? I think so.
Here and now Fury is a joke , both as a person and a fighter , he will be knocked out and I don't even think it will be close , as for stopping Haye ? fury cant punch , he hits like a fucking girl at this level.
very very easy win for Haye no doubt.
Fury has made his millions that's all he wanted to achieve , nobody in his camp believes the bullshit hype , he as thick as fuck , and fat mick is on commission, happy days , no more paving driveways.
Fury has built himself in to a contender are you that thick that you dont realise you are talking about someone with 5 years under their belt in the pros compared to Haye who has done 11 years? Haye has been a pro 6 years longer but only has 6 more fights.;D
Other than Valuev who wasn't even highly regarded, who has Haye beaten at heavy that Fury hasnt?
At the same point in their career Haye had a loss to Carl Thompson that he had no interest in reversing, unlike Fury with his McDermott fights.
Fury on SKY Ringside to promote the PPV and starts reeling off how boringly shit Haye's other PPV's have been. He even said the Haye fight could be a stinker depending on Haye's tactics ;D
Be an interesting one this. I've said that I fancy Haye to come a cropper before getting another shot at a belt. Not sure if Fury is the man to make that happen. Just don't see anything special about him other than his natural physical attributes.
He's made a habit of getting clumped in the chops off of right hands which will be what Haye is trying to set him up for. For a 6'9 bloke his chin isn't difficult to find, even for blokes a touch over 6 foot, Cunningham and Pajkic both 6'3.
I don't think Cunningham hurt him that much but Pajkic certainly did. If he gets hurt against Haye he's in a world of shit.
If Fury can beat Haye he deserves plenty of respect. In the heavyweight second division (first division being occupied by one fighter) Haye is right up there.
How is this fight on sky when Hearn is not involved in it? I know he has some association now with Haye but he wasn't to be seen in the presser and I thought it was matchroom only on sky?
He shuts everyone up so he can turn to Haye, look him in the eye and ask him "will you fight like a man or run like a girl" and Haye says "youll find out on the night" and Fury with a big grin and shrugging his shoulders, turns back to Adam Smith and Johnny Nelson and says "there you go";D
From what iv seen today of Adam Smith, he's pro Haye and seemed to ridicule Fury along with Nelson.
I think Furys brilliant. He is quick witted and shut Haye up a few times.
Haye tells him that Price beat him in the amateurs and if he can punch why didnt he knock Price out. Fury says "why didnt you knock Solis out?";D
I actually want fury to win after seeing ringside.
Haye had his chance against vlad and completely ruined it.
Ross. Without mentioning Carl Thompson or Lolenga Mock.
Would you agree that Fury's chin isn't a difficult target to hit? Would you also agree that Haye probably hits harder than Pajkic and Cunningham and is certainly faster?
You could of course argue that Wlad ruined it. Wlad has rendered bigger men than Haye offensively impotent.
Yeah Haye talked a lot of shit in the build up promising this, promising that. 50% of the guys that fight this weekend who are sure they are going to win are going to be wrong.
I hope the ppv figures are crap just like the Froch v Kessler one was. Sky take the piss, there boxing is the most expensive and the shows are rubbish compared to boxnation and yet they charge for this. I hate sky and Smith is a gimp.
already got my tickets for this one and will be putting money on Haye taking him out in the first round.
I really think Fury will freeze when faced with Haye stalking him - Haye is just too fast.
Fury still makes me laugh so fair play to him.
Haye got old manned by Thompson and was reckless (not too different to Price at weekend). And yes Haye never troubled Wlad - but Wlad never troubled him either despite also promising a knockout
Furys chin isnt great. Haye does hit hard.
Hayes chin isnt great and for as much as you all say otherwise, Fury CAN hit hard. Hrd enough to dent a cruiser chin. He WILL reach Hayes chin. Fury will give it all the big fight talk but on the night he will fight like he did against Johnson.
If Haye wasnt easy to hit, Wlad wouldnt have won every round against him. Even with Haye back peddling Wlad still tagged him plenty. Haye will have a longer reach and higher work rate to deal with against fury.
I've deleted most of what you said because it wasn't really what I asked. I asked how easy was Fury to hit and if Haye was a harder/faster puncher than the two guys of similar stature to Haye who had caused him problems.
We'll run with it though.
What we've agreed on then is that Fury is easy to hit, doesn't have a great chin and is facing the most dangerous puncher he's ever faced.
We've also established that the best most powerful heavy on the planet had no trouble hitting David Haye in the chin plenty of times but couldn't stop him.
How does Fury win this?
Joining in this late,
But basically Haye has spotted a good moneymaking fight, just as he did against Macaroni and Chis, if people are willing to pay to watch him beat overhyped wankers then its very astute of him to releive them of their money, it is, after all a professional sport. I think the fight has only been signed by the fury camp because Price got beat again. They have the million pound option with Haye followed by a probable loss to Price or Tony Thompson, Fat Mick and Tyson cash out.
Wlad seemed to want to jab haye a lot more he never really went in for the kill so to speak. He was happy just winning the rounds just doing what Wlad does in every fight. I do believe fury when he says he's going to march forward and try and hurt Haye. And whilst it lasts it will be interesting. Both men have been hurt In their careers and Haye has been stopped before. If fury can get up from getting hurt and apply the pressure like he did against Cunningham I don't think it will be an easy night for Haye. Fury has shown he can go 12 rounds and be busy as well.
The fight will come down to if Hayes power will be too much for Fury. If he can go down and recover from knockdowns like he has done in other fights then you never know Fury might have a chance. Hayes slowed down a lot in heavyweight fights as the rounds progress. Hayes best chance is to go for the knockout early and get fury out of there before fury starts finding his range.
Master is tighter than a nun's arsehole thats why he always slags off ppv bouts as he won't see them.
Though to be fair Haye don't deserve to be on ppv after year off - but the bout will get a hell of lot of people talking so maybe he does :-\
already had a few non boxing fan work colleagues asking me what's going on and the low down on each fighter (they know Haye from I'm a celebrity). And thats after one press conference. These boys will sell big numbers I am sure.
Haye sparks him and humiliates him for the hypo that he is, Tyson retreats to fighting Price or Tony Thompson for a last (losing) hurrah. Meanwhile coming up on the left flank is Hughy Fury, who will start the same hype again! An when he's done cousins Louey and Dewey will follow....... Fat Micks retirement fund!
I can't see Fury winning this fight. The main reason is he is not a big puncher and is far easy to hit himself. Haye is hard to hit clean, Wlad and Valuev fights show this.
I think Furys best chance is to make this an absolutely horrible fight to watch. Fight behind his jab and hold and lean on Haye as much as he can to completely drain him. People (Ross) believe that because Fury put in a solid boxing display against Johnson, he will be able to do so against Haye. The difference is Haye has speed and power. My prediction here is Haye in rounds 4-6
Get used to the sight of these two. They are going to be fucking everywhere for the next couple of months. They are both going to try and hype this like it's Ali vs Tyson.
This is a waste of time talking to you ,as im sure from the posts in this thread , others have realised.
Two questions -
1. did you really call me thick ?
2. and finally is it going to be a private function or open to the public when you marry Fury . maybe a gypsy wedding , you could put it on TV ?
Some have balanced views , other are blinded by love , im sure the rest of us know which you fall under.
Im presuming you are a very young kid, nothing else explains your childish view.
Al, why are you such a wanker? I bet you don't go out much?
My childish view? I said that Fury is still at contender level, having not fought fought for a world title yet. S how can the level of opponents they've faced to this point be fairly judged?
If anything the level of opponent that Haye has faced since winning a title should be ridiculed. Ruiz and Harrison? There the type of fighters someone of Prices level take on;)
...and gets stopped by, twice?
Hadnt seen this.
Fury getting the better of Haye again;D

Wonder what the middle fongers for from Whyte.....
Haye should win this inside 3. IF, it goes past 6 or 7, Fury has a chance!
They're both turd anyway!!
