Gamblers by definition gamble. The best of them will realize what can happen in the sport and factor that in. If you do not, well you do not often see broke bookies and casinos.
I suspect the majority of corruption in boxing is down to gambling. So that would suggest Ross is corrupting the corrupters, which thus may suggests what she did was a good thing! In which case again I disagree with you, as I thought Ross had a bad night, not a good one.
well, i can't argue against the case you've made for CJ Ross just having an off night. your tenacity and firm grasp of logic and reasoning have lulled me into submission defeated me soundly.
i can only hope that if you should end up in the hospital, are registering your kids for school, are applying for a bank loan OR are flying in a plane...that you have that profession's version of CJ Ross determining outcomes for you. AND i hope for you and your family's sake that they're NOT having "a bad day".

I hope so too. But you never know, they maybe having a bad day and I become a victim of that. But as annoying as that can be, it has yet to be the end of the world!;)

I doubt anyone here has not done something absolutely ridiculous in their job/life. And it was not because they are corrupt, it is just they are human...
If judging boxing was as simple as getting a computer to count punches, we would have had that by now. Amateur boxing tried it to a degree, and I think most agree it added not took away from the problem. Part of the beauty of boxing is that it is far from perfect. So the woman had a poor day at the office. Well no one died, and still the right person won.
I know I am guilty as most, by why all the negativity? We have just watched the finest fighter of the 21st Century put on a master class. At his age and with his style, it maybe the last time we see such brilliance from him, so lets make the most of that, rather than letting a poor bit of judgement overshadow things.
People like you is whats wrong with boxing. You accept this bullshit and corruption like so many others which allows it to continue.
Well at least Bob Arum is of the hook if BritKid is what's wrong with boxing :-\

Because I'm a negative cunt, but thats besides the point. Just as is the fact that Mayweather got the win, when we are talking about this specific judge who didn't give it to him. If people are extremely successful and achieve notoriety in their field, then absolute screw ups shouldn't be tolerated. That's like saying every ships Captain should be given a pass for running aground or hitting a fucking iceberg now and then, only human right. A bad day at the office could be giving Canelo 3 or 4 rounds instead of 1 or 2, but not 6. This lady is either corrupt or woefully inept, I don't see how you can spin it otherwise.
..I think Britkid is Inta Cynthia...

Re: C.J. Ross - Epic Failures
Gotta hand it to you, Britkid. You have stuck to your guns through thick and thin.
Regardless of how wrong you happen to be in this particular case.
There's something to be said for that.
Let's call it bull-headed stubbornness.
