And your posts about him are really, REALLY fucking boring.
Oh I'm sorry I thought you had stopped reading my posts Mr. I'm not reading your posts man. Here's the deal chief, you pricks stop your inane bitching about the great champion and then I won't have to rebut you all the time...comprende?
Your last one was only a sentence and just as childish as your first reply to me, so I made an exception. It takes so little to evoke a deep emotional response from you on the topic, I'll admit it was hard to resist. Here is actually the deal; rub a couple of brains cells together, see if you get a spark, and then maybe you won't make yourself look like such an insufferable twit when people are just discussing boxers without frantically jerking off. Eres un idiota. Vete a la mierda, gracias.

Povetkin is not a high punch output kinda guy. No one in the division, except for Arreola (who really could use some power power and keep up his training regimen in Arizona) AND Bryant Jennings throws the amount of punches in bunches that would cause Wlad problems.
I know we always hear about Deontay Wilder, but sadly we haven't seen much of his boxing skills because he's been sparking everyone. What if Wilder has a weak chin? What if Wilder can't last in a tough 10 rounds? What if he is the type that tires by the 6th and is easy pickings for someone who can throw combinations with effectiveness?
At least we know Arreola and Jennings (especially Jennings, who apparently can fight 20 rounds at the same pace I feel) can last a tough 12 rounder- and in some instances, pick up steam. Wilder hasn't shown us that yet.
So, yes- Wlad by a beatdown on Povetkin. Povetkin may quit on his stool like Ruslan Chagaev did. But by between the 8th and 10th rounds we will be able to see what's up with Povetkin.
Brewster had the punch output of a middleweight.....No WLAD was the one throwing the punches in that fight not Brewster until about the 4th round. Also guys have tried and tried and tried to repeat what Sanders, Brewster, and Purrity did vs Wladimir and they couldn't not because they sucked as fighters but because Wlad learned and adapted.
What are you on about "When Sanders was "priming" "....Sanders was a shot fighter when Wlad fought him, Wlad looked past him and paid the price. Sanders certainly wasn't "in his prime" he was at the tail end of his career, r.i.p.
Povetkin will be done by 6, he's not strong enough and too easy to hit.
Age has nothing to do with a fighter priming... in fact, as with Sergio Martinez and Hopkins, Sanders had a better tail end of a career. To some extent with Lennox Lewis as well.

Oh but of course, you want me to take my time read your idiotic drivel and come to the same conclusion as you which is that the 2nd longest reigning heavyweight champion of all-time is "timid", "cautious", and "his opponents suck".....yeah that's not childish at all. Deal with it, Wladimir is the champion he has earned respect from most rational posters and pundits, but you're holding out....why is that? Any special reason p4p?
If you don't like my posts then do please continue to NOT read them. It's not an emotional response it's a response of frustration that there are posters who are willingly as ignorant as they are.

He won A fight....singular....that doesn't make a prime. I will grant you that he had great unrealized potential, but his disdain for training and his love of golf kept him from achieving a great deal as a boxer.
Re: Wladimir vs Povetkin will be the real "The One"
Sanders is a much under appreciated boxer :S sure he didnt look like much but he was pretty tall had long arms and had a very good punch, underestimate him and you'd be in for a rough time for sure... I think he could have ko'd a lot of complacent heavyweights from all eras.... he even wobbled vitali when he was still a youngish man !
anyway povetkin is just made for wladimir... going by his previous problems... he is just so easy to jab and hit in general... wlad ko's him easy

Ha, this is my favourite ever post
I think ive fallen out with lyle about wlad more times than ive fallen out with my wife
It's not a "falling out" it's you're an asshole, a habitual button pusher, and most damning of all a ginger
Hey, sorry to interrupt but what is a ginger. I think you are talking about a Liberace but we don't use the ginger term in the US so I want to be clear.

No not a "ginger beer", "queer" an actual red haired, ginger person as in Eric's AV. I think El Kabong must be ginger too, or bald to have such a problem with shoonkees.:-)
Yes you should not discriminate against ginger people.
Re: Wladimir vs Povetkin will be the real "The One"
oh, alright, I liked me initial interpretation better, to much discrimination for me to make a subcategory for redheads. I'll just stick to the usual, I do appreciate the answer nonetheless.
Re: Wladimir vs Povetkin will be the real "The One"
There will be a decent undercard.
- Masternak-Drozd is an excellent matchup of top ten cruiserweights.
- Chagaev-Pular is a semi-final WBA eliminator, the winner will face Luis Ortiz to be the next WBA mandatory. Pudar is a good test to see if Chagaev is able to make a final run.
- Chakhkiev-Ilie is a very good comeback fight for Rakhim, after his tough loss to Wlodarczyk
- Chudinov-Avendano: a 30-9, 22 KO opponent is a good test for the 7-0 Chudinov.
It would be nice if they added one more HW fight to the undercard, but it's very good as it is.
Re: Wladimir vs Povetkin will be the real "The One"
I hope BoxNation doesn't have the boring John Rawling on Saturday.
He dislikes mainland European boxers, and his monotone voice can make an exciting fight seem dull.

I am glad I get to see it, Rawling is OK
Re: Wladimir vs Povetkin will be the real "The One"
Povetkin is tailor mad for Wlad. No head movement, not much speed, throws combinations without much power behind it. Oh trust me he dont want to throw too much combinations on Wlad cuz he gona get countered with something big.
Id be shocked if he makes it to 12..

Agreed it should be a comprehensive win for Wlad.
