Angulo will receive 100k more because Alvarez was at 155. He couldn't go any lower and they said Alvarez can not weigh more then 168 by 3pm tomorrow. This is interesting Canelo weight drained fighting the biggest puncher he's ever fought.. Plus he's stamina is already questionable the cards are stacked against him

This be an interesting fight. I would like to see Angulo win. I know he isn't favored but I have grown to dislike Canelo. Actually, I haven't liked him since the Trout fight. The scoring was a fiasco and the fight should have been a draw. Canelo is a good fighter but he is a superstar who hasn't lived up to his name. It drives me crazy how he fights in spurts. How can a superstar fight in Spurts. Angulo will be on him the entire fight.

Canelo defense has greatly improved so we may see a more refined fighter. You can't write him off for losing to Floyd.

Anybody have some good links to this fight. I want to watch but I don't find it pay per view worthy. It would be a great undercard for a super card

Turning into an excellent fight. 2 zip Thompson and winning the third with a phantom KD.

Left hand staggers Alvarez, sends him to the ropes for a standing 8 count. Both guys trading. Thompson more effective towards the end :)

Both guys boxing more this round. Thompson is effective behind the jab. Got to grab a beer ;)

Alvarez punches like he has a 1.5 second delay built in. 4 zip Thompson and winning the 5th. If Alvarez hand faster hands he would have a chance.

Nice back and forth action again in round 5. Alvarez touching the body more this round :)

Thompson needs to follow everything off the jab. Alvarez needs to stay on offense. Looks like Thompson may be tiring :confused:
