Gamboa won the first 4.75 rounds... then he got sloppy. He lacked discipline. If he had remained focused I think he could have beat Crawford.

If Gamboa's goal is simply to be an entertaining fighter...than i guess he accomplished that. If he wants to be a SUCCESSFUL fighter...he has a lot of work to do. His defense is porous...fighting with his hands down and chin up will continue to get his ass on the canvas. Clearly this was not a great weight for him either. And even though his lack of activity isn't completely his fault...you can not be inactive for long stretches and go up against top notch competition.
Still impressed with Gamboa making back to his feet after that last shot :o
