A fight of two halves, 4 in a row for Jennings for me.
i think perez just isnt a great athlete... he is good though.. better boxer than jennings but jennings is fitter.. I am not keeping count of the score but i think i have perez ahead going by my rough guess

No way Perez is ahead for me, he's been crap for the last 4 rounds and it was tight early. Jennings was dumb for switching southpaw at the end of that round it seemed though:-\

I cannot argue with a point deduction, but it should have been for clinching. Perez lost the entire second half and if you lose all the championship rounds, then you haven't got the momentum and gave it away.

That was actually a really bad foul by Perez, fuck him. 10-8 round for Jennings in the 12th should seal it. Perez should lose an extra point for Adam Booth as well. Bad referee? That was a completely warranted deduction.

Good call, and regardless of hbo bullshit ranting... that point didn't 'earn' Jennings the call. He fought harder and smarter. Perez phoned it in last half
I like that ref just for his facial expression when the decision was being read;D I think it was a bit wider with the point taken but at least it went the right way, can't argue.
any decision that upsets booth is a good decision in my opinion..
Jennings deserved the win. He didnt look like he had a clue early doors but Perez dodgy stamina and reluctance to work at any kind of pace other than a snails left the door open for Jennings to come into it and win it on workrate. Booth can mouth off all he likes but he/his guy blew it by not having enough miles in the tank. Fair play to Jennings but I dont think he'll be going far.

Perez could easily be the better fight but he's a fat lazy slob. Jennings may not have the talent but he is a fighter in his heart. Glad they got the decision right. I hope Perez learns from this and decides to put in the necessary work but considering how the division is littered with fat lazy slobs I don't expect much change.
