Yea Hawks defense will keep giving them a chance to win. They don't give up much points especially in the second half. The Offense kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Russel threw 4 INT and may have been concussed from the helmet to helmet hit from the first quarter. RW is a winner though and winners find ways to win. 15 points in 44 seconds. Down 19-7 in under 4 minutes. Packers thought they had this game but Hawk's wheels just keep turning, like everything was always under control. Lynch with 25 carries had over 150 yards and that is from a team down 16-0 all the way to mid 3rd quarter.
Not sure which NFC Championship Win was better this year or last years. Nah def this one is better ;D
Packerfans singing
So ya had a bad day!
I saw several ways to win.
The pack last offensive drive..was horendous play calling. They went conservative..soft and tried to run the ball with the defense prepared to stuff the line...STOOPID!
They didnt call the plays like they had a real defence to run against...its like they were hoping for the best.
No way should they have loss other than Seattle never quitting- kudos to them...but some bad play calling if you ask me, that the Packers could've hung on if Holmgren was there..
Congrats to Seattle they played 60 minutes of ball-what champions do...:-\

I feel bad for the guy.... it was a monumental mistake.
But the article was too kind in their description.
He didn't "jump up and tipped it", as the article said.
The damn ball clean bounced off his facemask after going right through his outstretched hands, and into the waiting arms of a Seahawks player.
Nasty stuff.
He'll be hearing about that one for awhile.

You sound like R. Wilson. Lying to everyone face and fooling himself to beleive in what he's saying. If he didn't think they were going to lose with 5:00 left in the game, He wouldn't have been crying after the game. Instead he would have been laughing or shaking his head at all the non-beleivers. Packers choked big time and deserved to lose. The Colts / NE game started out about the same as Sea/Packers score wise except NE put the pressure on and deliverered a KO. The Packers tried to run out the clock and paid the ultimate price for it.

After all of the fuck up by the OFfense and special team by the Seahawks, the Packers was only able to put together 1 touchdown and they were given great field position by the Hawks all day. The Hawks defense only allowed 16 in the first and 6 in the second half. The Hawks don't lose if you can't put up 27+ points on that defense. The Packers had many opportunities to but the Hawks defense would not allow it.
Hawks actually ended up out running and put up more passing yards. I am a Hawks fan but the better team did win because if the Hawks didn't have those balls bounce to the Packers, the Packers would had never had the lead.

Just because you're faith is weak doesn't mean it is not possible for somebody else to have a strong mental drive. Russel lying? You're a fool. Russel had always maintain that strong mental drive and faith. When they were losing he kept telling his team mates they are going to win this game. Go watch the mic up video of him.
The reason why he cried is because he is again proven correct with his belief. Tears of joy after adversity. Sounds like you never been through any.
The Packers didn't choke, they just lost to the better team. Hawks did what they needed to do after all the fuck ups that happen to them. Do you think the Packers expected 3 INT from Russel in one half? Do you think the Packers would of put up 16 points if those INTs didn't happen ? But they did and the Hawks did what needed to be done to win the game.

Poor guy, people are just looking for somebody to blame. Even if Bostick tried to block Matthew doesn't mean Nelson would of caught the ball. Bostick and Matthew was closer to the ball landing than Nelson, it could of bounce away from Nelson or Nelson running into Bostick.
I think the blame should go on the Packers OFfense they needed to get those 1st downs but couldn't in the second half and kept giving the Hawks Offense another shot.

What does everybody think about "Deflategate"?
To me it's just another excuse to dump on Brady and the Patriots. What's a Super Bowl without its obligatory controversial story line? It makes me want the Pats to win even more. F*ck it. I'm assuming they all played with the same ball, so what's the problem? Besides... if it's cold and rainy, I'd rather have a football the player can grip than one with the characteristics of a wet bar of soap. Big, f*cking deal. In any case, I hope public opinion builds against New England. All the more motivation for the Pats to win.

Each team provide their own football and they practice with them before the game. The footballs the Colts brought were not deflated and were in the allowed psig range.
I like Tom Brady and the Patriots, they were always the second team in Madden. But it is hard to imagine, for a veteran like Tom Brady to not notice a deflated ball. They showed former players on espn easily picking out the deflated ball out of 3 footballs.
The benefit of deflated balls are you can grip the ball better as a runner and as a qb/passer. You can catch it better and throw it further by being able to easily grip and better grip in one hand.
It's interesting how this is going to unfold.

If what you say is true then the NFL might have to change the rules. It's easy enough to deflate regulation balls. I'm surprised there aren't more strict controls already in place to prevent this sort of tampering. Nevertheless, it won't be an issue in Arizona, where temperature is a non-factor.

Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
Texture of the football is much more important than than a small amount of psi let's face it, the game was a blow out. The patriots would have won if they were using a pillow. They had a good ground game. The refs touched the ball after every play. I see it as a non issue

This is a good point also.
I certainly haven't heard of any Indianapolis Colt complaining about ball deflation.

Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
I like stats.... and these are good (interesting) ones. Eleven whole minutes?? Who would've thought. I know it takes me roughly an hour to watch a DVR'ed game, but I only cut through commercials, timeouts, and halftime. There's still the time on the field while the players are huddling, or immediately after the play as they're reconvening for the next play. Eleven minutes.... that blew me away, bro. Still.... it's a wildly entertaining game. I wonder how similar stats would stack up for something like baseball (which bores me to tears).
-
Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
Oh shit I have to think they are similar for baseball. And for sure football is a great game, but I think this is why I (as a lifelong hockey fan) find it so hard to watch football with any consistency: way too much filler.

This is some seriously drawn out non-football pre game show.

Superbowls were better when it catered towards men and football fans.
All that glitter shit, stages, acts, million dollar commercials trying to outdo each other.
Call me chauvinistic, but I miss the major 4
1. Pre-Bowl- Highlights of previous Super Bowls
2. The 1st 1/2
3. Half time meant- go piss, then reload on more beer & pizza .
4. Second Half
I'll check the game out in about 2 hours from now...roughly the coin toss.

Yeah... I'm keeping myself away till about half hour before kickoff.
It's tough, though.
Knowing it's the last meaningful football game until about September.... I just want to breathe it all in.
Sound like a junkie, don't I....
;D

Snuck a peek at the pre-game and they're showing Russell Wilson high school pictures??
I'm outta here..... till game time.

Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
What a game!!!!! I'm sorry.... but between the NFC championship game (Seahawks over Packers) and this one..... there should be no doubt whatsoever about what the most exciting team sport in the world is. None whatsoever!!!
In any case, I'm glad the Patriots won. I thought they were going to lose to yet ANOTHER freak play when the Seahawk receiver caught that ball while flat on his back. Talk about a FLUKE!! But justice was made... and that interception at the goal line sealed the deal. I feel sorry for the Seattle offensive coordinator. He's liable to get fired over that call at the end.
So..... Deflategate or not..... the Pats are world champions once again!
-
Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
Meh I think there's still plenty of doubt, it was a great game with a lot of drama but you're still only getting 11 minutes of action haha.
I can't believe they didn't run the fucking ball, I'm not invested in either team so I didn't care, but if I was a Sea hawks fan I'd be blowing my brains out after that.

Re: NFL Playoffs are here!
Who's idea was it to have Lenny Kravitz limited to a basic cameo and Katy Perry jump around like some live action Pee Wees playhouse spoof. Chick looked like Bam Bam Bigelow in that construction paper cut out flame suit ffs.

No fluke, that guy just wanted it that bad!!
Funny but it was the Patriots as well who had to defend when... whats his name caught the ball with his helmet.
Interesting that Seattle went to the bowl IMO because of the shoddy playcalling Packers made in their last drive- and this game I think Seattle called the wrong play giving up the interception.
Otherwide a really good game since I had no dog this this race.
