Re: Manny v Floyd is "Bullshit" and not gonna happen says Ariza (Video)
I don't know why people get so hot under the collar about this anymore. If it happens cool, if it doesn't cool too. There are a lot of fighters out there and Manny and Floyd do not make the sport. Floyd in particular can just piss off for all I care. He is a cherry picker and tedious to watch anyway. Let him fight scraps like Mundine for safe money. It's only the loss of anyone who pays to see it.

Shock and awe Ron, a lawyer turned boxing promoter is not telling the truth!?
You're obviously a pretty sharp bloke Ronnie boy but sometimes you focus so much on the apparent font that you miss the plot entirely. Do you honestly think Manny is going to release a statement lecturing the public on the concepts of offer & acceptance, consideration blah blah blah or just keep things nice and digestible by saying "I have signed my part of the contract, now it's up to Floyd". Remember the idea of a contract existing before an offer has even been accepted may sound ludicrous to yourself but the majority of the public are completly ignorant on the subject so of course Manny (or the omnipresent lonesome Bob i.e. the shooter on the grassy knole, the suicidal pilot on Malaysian Airlilnes flight MH370 and, most infamously, the man solely responsible for myself running out of toilet paper the other day at work!) or whoever else from the ever powerful yet eternally elusive Illuminati will cater to that.
You've been a very good boy young Master Swanson and done your homework but until you get your eager little hands on actual source documents everything you or any other of us lowly fans present is mere hearsay. In a situation like this perhaps it is best to take a dispassionate and objective step back and form an opinion on who you think benefits the most from the present circumstances. When I do that I just can't see Bob winning here old sport. If he supposedly steers Manny away from Floyd then how many other fights does the Pacman really have left? Two or three at the most?
What bottom line do you think is more attractive to Bob?:
1) Fight Floyd and, win or lose, hit the biggest jackpot of his career notwithstanding any possible rematch clauses. Again, win or lose and still reap the rewards of the next two or three possible different matchups in Macau, Abu Dhabi and/or Wembley (in no particular order) or,
2) Not fight Floyd and take the two or three more said fights in which will most probably still only generate a fraction of what could be produced from the fight of the century (assuming that Manny doesn't get hit with the same right hand bombs that Marquez and even Bradley conjured up and return to Napville (god forbid in the first fight scheduled after ducking Floyd))
You don't have to work out the present value of future cash flows to make a guess about what Mr Arum is thinking, you just need to not lose sight of the big picture.
