Re: The Official Saddo's P4P Monthly & Big Fight Update Thread
Chris John is way overrated in these polls. He is a good fighter, but he isn't P4P material and doesn't deserve to be in the top ten based on his achievements either.
His beaten Derrick Gainer (who was in his stand there and don't do anything mode) and most think he lost to Marquez even though it was competetive.
I scored the fight 116-111 for Marquez. Marquez was repeatedly warned, and eventually got a deduction, for low blows where they were on target to land legally, but John backed up. None of them landed hard...but Marquez lost two points for them.
Have any of you ever seen him?

I agree. And I thought Wacko was removing him and putting Tarver on in his spot?

@Brit
I didnt know you're a Barrera fan ;)
but put him on #1 ;D :D
After the loss to PAC he beat guys like Ayala, Fana, Peden and Morales
so how do you explain MAB being in #1 ??
Re: The Official Saddo's P4P Monthly & Big Fight Update Thread
wlad should be somewhere on this list.
Re: The Official Saddo's P4P Monthly & Big Fight Update Thread
Hatton should be moved down at least a notch or two after Saturday's performance. I won't say he lost the fight--I'd give it to him by a point or two--but he definitely didn't look like an elite boxer in there, and I think he'd have even more trouble with other fighters who are nowhere to be found on our P4P list (Cotto, Margarito and Judah, for instance), as well as the currently lower-ranked Castillo.
Re: The Official Saddo's P4P Monthly & Big Fight Update Thread
I agree that Hatton should slide down a little bit. I mean, he's one spot ahead of Castillo, but do we really think that he would beat Castillo, were they to be matched up against each other? I wouldn't bet on it. If Castillo takes care of Corales on 6/3, I'd say Hatton would have to at least drop down a spot.
