Of all the opponents KHAN mentioned, Algieri is the least acceptable, nobody can argue against that. Whether Khan is ranked 3rd in the division or 7th/8th, the only way you climb and improve is by fighting people above you or at least on your level while others slip. You don't improve by fighting somebody leagues lower. It achieves nothing.

After Garcia beat Khan, he went on to beat Matthysse and virtually unify the division. What did Khan do? Oh yeah, he fought an unranked lightweight, followed by a career lightweight who was a bit long in the tooth, and he still manged to put Khan on his ass!

Got a gift against Herrera, fought a career lightweight bum and now a catchweight. Not exactly brilliant. Opponent v opponent Khans last 3 fights have been far better than Garcias in my opinion. Devon already beat Matthysse, Diaz whoops Salka and Collazo whoops Herrera.

I agree this virgill Khan is a lot better than roach Khan who was reckless and at 147lb he would have a better advantage.

If you didn't like Khan you'd admit he doesn't deserve an immediate rematch nor would you take the 1m dollar offer seriously.

Hopefully they fight again. But Garcia is too busy being a bitch and doesn't seem to want a fight with any of the top guys. haven't heard him challenge anyone, he seems happy fighting nobodies at catch weights.

After a few hard fights, I don't see a problem with a soft touch or two. Garcia has had his break so it's time to look at some real fights if he gets past Peterson--you never know. Lol
