He got hurt in the beginning of the round against a veteran who knew exactly what to do.

Does anybody have the fight night weights for Matthysse and Provodnikov? They both looked a little freeze dried in the weigh in photos.

I think the stoppage was fair. Dude almost rolled out of ring trying to get up. If he had gotten up he would have been down in no time. Fair stoppage

Matthysee has got the right idea by moving and going to the body whenever possible, but I still don't think he'll react well when he gets caught.

Great fight. Matthysse is a tremendous puncher and he can't deter Provodnikov at all.

Matthysse seems to be feeling Prov's power more than the other way round. But Prov shipping more. Knife edge.

Every time I see a fight like this I think of Margarito - Cotto

This is tense stuff. I hope Matthysse can keep this pace up.
