I think Broner's contract with Porter is on the right track. Weigh in's the day before, but another weigh in the same day with a cap on how much you can rehydrate.
If the cap is 10lbs, and you're a giant for your weight class and you're cutting 15-20lbs, there's nobody who's going to go through the hell of cutting weight the day before and the day of. Nobody wants to be sweating off 5-10lbs in the sauna a few hours before fight time.
