Re: Fights you viewed differently after re-watching
Kenny Norton vs. Muhammad Ali 'I'
Kenny really beat the 'Shit' out of Muhammad.
It was quite enjoyable to watch again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Almost as enjoyable as watching Barrie Chase dancing with Dick Shawn in....... "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World"

watching Pac vs JMM I -I felt Pac got jobbed. The 1 judge screwed up and didn't count the 3 knockdowns.
While I still feel that way, Today I can't see Pac winning but 3 rounds 4 at best. Watching it live, I had Pac winning...I dunno....maybe 5 or six rounds.

yeah its a pity hes such a bell end
maybe he wouldnt be as good if he wasnt such a complete bellend
has there ever been a bigger big name bell end boxer that floyd?
I cant think of one
David Haye and his delicate pinky toe!
seen the vid of floyd talking to the dummy as if it was pac
he really does have the charisma of a massive smelly dog shit
I'm not altogether certain, but I sense you're not a big fan of Floyd's? ;)
Ha, no you're right my opinion is he's a nob

Re: Fights you viewed differently after re-watching
Did this recently with Morrison v Mercer. Live it was watching Morrison beat the crap outta Ray and land everything at will but simply gassed out. On rewatch Mercer did a very subtle crafty break down, hurting Tommy with sneak shots early on and lowering the boom at end.

We'd wear it out.
But I'm in favour of one!
Re: Fights you viewed differently after re-watching
I watched Burns Beltran live and scored it a draw.
Second time I scored Beltran up.
Then third time i scored it a draw again.
I think my mood determines how I score a fight. Beltran threw a lot but did not land enough clean, while Burns picks him with little jabs and straights when he moves away.
If im in the mood for a technical fight burns/beltrans gets the draw but if I am in the mood for a scrap Beltran gets the win.
In any event Burns never wins.

Muhammad Ali vs. Jimmy Young
The look on the faces from Muhammad Ali's Camp sitting at Ringside was 'priceless'.
Poor brother Rudy Clay {Rahman Ali} running around like a Chicken with his head cut-off,
running from Muhammad Ali's corner to bring information to Manager - Herbert Muhammad
sitting in the 3rd Row was as 'Funny as Hell'.
Herbert Muhammad looked like he had a 'Lump of Shit' stuck in his Fat Ass, while watching
that 230 lb. 'Bloated Whale' fighter of his struggle to get out of the way of his own wake.

Also there were many occasions where Mayweather was being hit but showed great composure - where first time around I didn't even acknowledged that he'd been caught.
I genuinely hate to admit it but similar things happen in the Pacquiao fight.
Now I'm not about to go and re score the fight but many people on YouTube have made solid cases for Pacquiao.

Do not look at that fight again Jim. Please!

Re: Fights you viewed differently after re-watching
Idle time to watch fights of old: Froch vs Dirrell.
Live, I took into account how often Dirrell moved backwards at times really fast- literal running. I think I scored it like 7-5 Froch.
Recently watched, I took into account how often Dirrell was landing clean crisp shots to Froch's punches that landed- but not as clean. While Froch was the aggressor to me 1st time I watched it; 2nd time it was ineffective aggression, can't score for him because he moved forward and landed somewhat sloppily at times
I remember Froch doing some questionable tactics, but today I can't figure out how he threw Dirrell to the canvas, put him in headlocks, but it was Dirrell that got a point deducted.
Dirrell won the fight, I've watched it maybe 3 times total and have it 2-1 Dirrell.
