I get a feeling if Garcia where to slap Chavez like he did Maidana, Chavez would probabley say fuck this and walk off
Refuses to weigh in pre fight ;D Reyes about to vs Tonka truck lt heavyweight! Chavez trying to bait him into expected ko
or Chavez is high
Chavez back to beating up way undersized opponents. :-\
Reyes needs to stay off the ropes or he is going to get knocked out. He should be circling Chavez and aiming for the body and not the head. Chavez looks bigger than Reyes and he has already proved he can hurt him, I am actually surprised Reyes has lasted this long. I think if Chavez Jr. was more disciplined, he wouldn't have.
I cannot put into words how much Chavez sucks. He is almost cartoonish
Reyes should go to Chavez's body more often.
Chavez crying again..WTF??? He looks panicked man
Lol.
That is all I got really. There is no understanding it. Every fight the guy is in is a fix. And nobody does anything. He's ranked #5 in the Wbc at 168 and has never fought there. The Ibf was charged for that kind of shit, fines were paid and people did jail time. And they hid it. This is right in our face.
He won't be relevant again... no matter how hard the WBC tries to set the table.
Robert Garcia's face in the post fight interview said it all. He looked perplexed and confused about what happened over the course of those ten rounds and I think over his tenure as Chavez Jr.'s trainer. In what should have been a sensational knockout performance against a much smaller limited fighter, Chavez Jr. allowed Reyes to not only land shots at will but to also go the distance. Chavez Jr. looked winded at times, content to stalk at others, and when he had Reyes hurt unable to finish the job. I can't tell the difference between "fully focused" Chavez Jr. and the weed smoking unable to make weight fighter from before.
Am I the only one who scored the fight for Reyes? I had him winning by a point. Chavez looked terrible. Him and arreola are in the same category of non dedicated fighters that I hate and somehow get exposure.
I think Garcia is going to have to toughen up on Chavez to whip him into shape. We will see if he can do it...I bet it turns into another trainer change if Chavez pusses out. Garcia is kind of putting his reputation for sale if he lets Chavez make those kind of performances.
Feel for his dad hard working atg and then his sun the pot smoking rich kid dancing around in pink underwear but to be fair a rich kid fighting is weird thing really. The thing is as long as the kid gets all this cash he just going to get high and eat and come in for a fucking payday.
JCC JR stinks. That's one apple that fell from the tree and rolled into a sewer.
I just don't understand why this guy is a PPV fighter in the States. I'm fully aware of who his Dad is, but how many chances does this guy get? Somebody from over the pond , please enlighten me.
It's not really ppv so to speak but it is on Showtime which is a monthly service fee channel. So we aren't paying extra just to see JCC blubber around the ring.
I just watched the fight lasts night as I worked on the weekend. How does JCC continually avoid stepping on the scale prior to the fight. Dude is a farce. And his lame excuses to boot, plus his crying to the ref, what the he'll is he doing.
Yeah sounds that way.
I'm not sure what sky is, I've heard you guys talking about it and I infer it's a sports subscription channel so yes it's similar but Showtime shows a lot of regular movies, concerts, documentaries and sports mostly boxing and MMA. It's a competitor of HBO. Up until cbs showing boxing if you were a boxing fan in the US HBO and Showtime were the only ways to watch the fights live, legal that is.
